La Fundación Miguel Sánchez del Río, A.C. (FMSR)

La Fundación Miguel Sánchez del Río, A.C. (FMSR)

SaiGuru.net is an Anti-Baba website that disperses blatant disinformation, propaganda and defamations against the revered spiritual leader Sathya Sai Baba. The saiguru.net domain is run and operated by the Lomeli Quintanilla family who are members of La Fundación Miguel Sánchez del Río (FMSR), which is a charitable organization in Jalisco, Mexico.

On the main index page to saiguru.net, it dishonestly states, “SaiGuru.net is an independent website to expose the allegations and controversy surrounding the Indian Guru Sathya Sai Baba. It is not part of any particular group or movement.” The saiguru.net domain exclusively publishes Anti-Sai-Baba articles with no other content. The saiguru.net domain is registered to Juan Roman Lomeli Quintanilla, from Jalisco, Mexico.

Members of FMSR (Ivan Lomeli Quintanilla, Gabriela Quintanilla Trevino, Mariana Lomeli Quintanilla, Natalia Lomeli Quintanilla, Lionel Fernandez Lopez, Margarita Sanchez Van Dyck, Girasol Jimenez Ortega, Diana Ortega de Jimenez, Alfonso Peniche Ballesteros & Guillermo Santos Valle) have all signed the bogus Sai Petition against Sathya Sai Baba. This information conclusively proves that saiguru.net is not an “independent” website. Rather, saiguru.net is an Anti-Baba Site created and maintained by members of La Fundación Miguel Sánchez del Río who were former followers of Sathya Sai Baba.

English: The Miguel Sánchez del Río Foundation (FMSR) was created in 1984 as a way to help society in bettering the life style of individuals, families and communities in the rural area of the State of Jalisco, Mexico.

Due to the fact that the initiators of the project obtained 200 acres of farm land as the headquarters of the project in the State of Jalisco, the first experiments were carried out in the neighboring town of Maltaraña, a place that seemed to illustrate all of the main characteristics typical of the communities in rural areas. It was also evident that the inhabitants of these communities were lacking in information of the different government projects with which they could be helped.

The conditions of their living quarters, the lack of potable water and some of the most basic needs for healthy living made Maltaraña an ideal model with which to start. Three or four artisan wells next to a a highly contaminated river were the source of the precious liquid for 100 famlies. Indiference, hopelessness and conflicts among the individuals marked the socio-psychological characteristics of the population.

The work of the Foundation consists in detecting difficulties, being at a personal, family or community level and then taking the necessary steps to provide or obtain help. In addition to providing education, nutrition and professional counseling, the Foundation becomes a liason to help obtain the benefits that are available through government programs of which sometimes the communities are not aware.

Tanya Datta - British Broadcasting Corporation

Tanya Datta - British Broadcasting Corporation

Tanya Datta is a journalist and writer living in the UK. Tanya Datta made her TV debut in 2004 when she investigated allegations against the revered Indian Guru and humanitarian Sathya Sai Baba in a BBC2 program entitled “Secret Swami”.
Wikipedia Information About Tanya Datta:

Tanya studied English at Wadham College Oxford University graduating with a first in 1995. In 1996, she won the Scott Trust Bursary to study journalism at City University and went on to be selected as an ITN News Trainee. In 2000, Tanya joined the BBC where she spent seven years on BBC Radio 4’s award-winning foreign affairs series, Crossing Continents. She has also reported for Five Live, the World Service and more recently has been presenting programmes for BBC2.

Tanya has been writing a collection of short stories and is currently working on a novel.”

Tanya Datta Bias & Anti-Guru Agenda Uncovered

Tanya Datta wrote an article promoting the “Secret Swami” program in exclusive association with Basava Premanand (an Indian rationalist and a known critic and defamer of Sathya Sai Baba since 1968) entitled “Sai Baba: God-Man or Con Man?”. Tanya Datta held Basava Premanand in such great esteem, she figured him prominently on the main page of her official domain.

Tanya Datta’s close association and work with Indian rationalists, skeptics and atheists (Refs: 0102030405) lends credence to the perception that Tanya Datta is biased against Gurus and her output about Sathya Sai Baba is similarly interpreted.

Andries Krugers Dagneaux (former webmaster and “Main Representative, Supervisor and Contact” for the largest Anti-Sai website on the internet, hetnet.nl/~exbaba: Reference) made several very disturbing claims that Tanya Datta (correspondent for the BBC in the production of the Secret Swami documentary) and the BBC itself accepted, promoted the views of and were sympathetic with Ex-Devotees: Reference!

Tanya Datta and the BBC purposely suppressed behind-the-scenes collaboration with Indian rationalists and skeptics. As a matter of fact, the IHEU (International Humanist and Ethical Union – An Atheist & Rationalist group) said the following about the “Secret Swami” Program:
“The documentary had considerable input from IHEU and some of its member organizations in India during production, and prominently features B Premanand and Professor Narendra Nayak, leaders of the IHEU member organization India CSICOP.” (Ref)

Khushwant Singh (an Indian Journalist interviewed by Tanya Datta in the Secret Swami program) stated in the GuruBusters video that he holds Anti-Guru and rationalist views. Mr Singh said, “What you cannot prove by your reason, we reject…I reject God…I can only be wishful and say I hope that rationalism will thrive in this country as it has in some others.” For some mysterious reason, Mr Singh’s Anti-Guru and Rationalist views were not divulged by either Tanya Datta or the BBC.

Tanya Datta & BBC Withheld Information About Alaya Rahm

In “Response To Form Interrogatories” in Alaya Rahm’s self-dismissed lawsuit against the Sathya Sai Baba Society (Form Interrogatory No. 6.3, Set One) Alaya Rahm fully admitted that he had been a daily user of illegal street drugs and alcohol from 1995 – 2005. Consequently, during Alaya Rahm’s interviews and during the filming of the BBC Documentary “Secret Swami”, Alaya Rahm was under the influence of illegal street drugs and alcohol while relating his alleged sexual encounters with Sathya Sai Baba. This crucial information wholly undermines Alaya Rahm’s credibility and irreparably compromises the integrity of his claims. Needless to say, Alaya Rahm’s alcoholism and drug addiction have been purposely suppressed from the general public by Anti-Sai Activists, the Rahm Family, the media, Tanya Datta and the BBC (Ref).

Journalist Tanya Datta - In Conclusion

In conclusion, Tanya Datta’s strong-ties with rationalists, skeptics and atheists sheds a new light on the “Secret Swami” documentary. It would appear that Tanya Datta and the BBC had an Anti-Guru agenda and their bias was cleverly masked with soothing music and professional editing. It is also signifcant to note that Ex-Devotees of Sathya Sai Baba boasted that they were heavily involved with the “Secret Swami” program and were informed about its production and release months before anyone else knew about it. Shame on Tanya Datta and shame on the BBC!
