Photoshopped Picture Attacks Against Sathya Sai Baba

ROBERT PRIDDY (a laughable critic and defamer of Sathya Sai Baba) had the audacity to criticize Gerald Joe Moreno for “manipulating” images of Ex-Devotees and creating images of a “pornographic kind”. Robert Priddy clearly contrasted himself as an ethical and moral individual who does not support or endorse “manipulated” images or other images of a “pornographic kind”. As a matter of fact, pseudo-moralist Robert Priddy said about Gerald Joe Moreno:

Robert Priddy: “The impostor Gerald Moreno, who actually writes under the name of sathyasaibaba on his wordpress blog, himself manipulates images (here is his most vulgar masterpiece where he hides behind the names Equalizer and Premaperme) and distorting people’s faces!”

Robert Priddy: “Last but far from least, he posts photos of critics of Sai Baba with distorted faces and added bodies of a pornographic kind!”

BARRY PITTARD (another laughable critic and defamer of Sathya Sai Baba) similarly criticized Gerald Joe Moreno for “photo attacks” and “diabolizing photo alterations” against Ex-Devotees. Barry Pittard clearly contrasted himself as an ethical and moral individual who does not support or endorse “photo attacks” and “diabolizing photo alterations” against others.

This article will conclusively prove that Barry Pittard and Robert Priddy are self-serving hypocrites who not only fully endorse other’s “photo attacks”, “diabolizing photo alterations”, “manipulated images” and “images of a pornographic kind” against Sathya Sai Baba, they themselves create, disperse and publish “photo attacks”, “diabolizing photo alterations” and “manipulated images” against Sathya Sai Baba and others as well.

Beginnings: Sanjay Dadlani’s Photo Attacks Against Sathya Sai Baba

The issue of “photo attacks” began in December 2005 when Sanjay Dadlani (an Ex-Devotee) published photoshopped images of Sathya Sai Baba on his “Sai Baba Exposed” blog taken from the India Corporate Watch Blog and from other internet sources (Refs: 01 - 02). As a result of Sanjay Dadlani’s photo-attacks against Sathya Sai Baba, an anonymous person using the pseudonym “PremaPerm” took offence and created the following photoshopped images of Sanjay Dadlani: 01 - 02 - 03 - 04 - 05 - 06 - 07 - 08. Barry Pittard and Robert Priddy continually foam-at-the-mouth over these images and repeatedly reference them against Gerald Moreno (a Pro-Sai Activist). Click thumbnail to enlarge:

Moreno created this composite image of Sanjay Dadlani and instead of being upset with Moreno, Sanjay Dadlani actually thought the image was funny and used the image as his profile picture for almost two years on his Sai Baba Exposed blog. Although Barry Pittard and Robert Priddy act as proxy spokespersons for Sanjay Dadlani, they purposely suppress relevant information about him (which will be discussed in-depth later in this article). Additionally, Barry Pittard and Robert Priddy continually foam-at-the-mouth over this picture of Reinier van der Sandt that Moreno published on his saisathyasai.com domain.

When Sanjay Dadlani decided to publish photoshopped images attacking Sathya Sai Baba, Ex-Devotees thought it was funny! As a matter of fact, Sanjay Dadlani said:

In this vein, a fellow blogger has informed me of his own blog where he has lampooned Sai Baba with glee with the aid of comical images. Hope these give you a good belly laugh as they did me!

Taking It With A Smile: Since we’re all in the mood for light-heartedness, a respondent has sent me more pictures, Enjoy.

The photoshopped images of Sanjay Dadlani were similarly meant to be “light-hearted” and intended for “good belly laughs” (many people thought they were funny!). Needless to say, once the tables were turned against Ex-Devotees, they did not think it was funny and they have been shrieking shrilly, stomping their feet, pounding their chests in baboon fashion and flaring their nostrils ever since.

It is an irrefutable fact that Barry Pittard and Robert Priddy have never expressed any concern, disgust or outrage at the “photo attacks”, “diabolizing photo alterations”, “manipulated images” and “images of a pornographic kind” created, published and disseminated by Critics & Ex-Devotees against Sathya Sai Baba. The reason why pseudo-moralists Barry Pittard and Robert Priddy have never (ever) objected to photo attacks against Sathya Sai Baba is because they themselves create, publish and disseminate “photo attacks”, “diabolizing photo alterations” and “manipulated images” against Sathya Sai Baba and others on the internet.

Apparently, a drawing of Sathya Sai Baba receiving oral sex from a child underneath his robe, Sathya Sai Baba made to look like a monkey and Sathya Sai Baba holding a barbell with his penis meet Barry Pittard and Robert Priddy wholesome standard of “morality”. The following images “of a pornograhic kind” were posted by Reinier Van Der Sandt (a known friend & associate of Pittard & Priddy) on the SSB2 Yahoo Group (which is currently deactivated).

Reinier Van Der Sandt is the same associate of Barry Pittard and Robert Priddy who openly boasted about viewing child pornography and who openly admitted to using numerous fake names (including Moreno’s name). RFJ Sandt is also the same person who libeled Gerald Moreno as being sexually abused by Sathya Sai Baba and who stole Moreno’s entire saisathyasai.com domain. To Date: Barry Pittard and Robert Priddy have yet to say a single word against their friend and associate Reinier van der Sandt and his proven perversions and defamations.

A colorized version of RFJ Sandt’s oral sex image was posted on Sanjay Dadlani’s claimed blogs: saibabaexposed & saibabatribune. As a matter of fact, Sanjay Dadlani (the Ex-Devotee that Barry Pittard and Robert Priddy ceaselessly defend and endorse) posted this picture “of a pornographic kind” (black bar added by Moreno) under the name “Azra’iL” (among several other sexually suggestive pictures of women) on the Gaudiya-Repercussions website. Sanjay subsequently changed his “Azra’iL” nic to “Brainiac”, changed his featured blog from “SaiBabaExposed” to “NeuroWhoa!” and removed the picture but left the link (Ref: Post #6). Sanjay Dadlani is the same friend and associate of Barry Pittard and Robert Priddy who was caught photographing teenagers, women and female students at Middlesex University under tables and up their dresses and posting those pictures on his StreetBitches Blog. To Date: Barry Pittard and Robert Priddy adamantly refuse to say one word about Sanjay Dadlani’s sexually deviant and stalking behaviors and photographs of a “pornographic kind”. Instead, Robert Priddy publicly defends Sanjay Dadlani and Barry Pittard referred to Sanjay Dadlani as “very intelligent”, “hard-working” and “writing perceptive exposures of Sai Baba and his sect”.

Sanjay Dadlani posted on the QuickTopic Forum (using multiple fake names, including female names) and made disgusting posts under the name “Marquis de Sade” about a large penis for anal sex, a feces-covered anus, bestiality, people vomiting into each other’s mouths and a Priest ejaculating on the face of a little girl as related by her brother. Sanjay even posted under the name “kick his head in” and said that someone should murder Sathya Sai Baba (of course, this is the same guy who rejoiced when a Sai Baba temple was bombed). Nice friend you got there, Pittard & Priddy!

Barry Pittard and Robert Priddy adamantly refuse to say one word about the following images of a “pornographic kind” posted on the kheper.net domain belonging to Alan Kazlev (another known friend and associate of Pittard & Priddy):

Barry Pittad and Robert Priddy obviously drool over these images that they apparently consider “decent” and “appropriate” because they have never (ever) voiced a single complaint against these images despite their pseudo-moralistic blathering against images of a “pornographic kind”. It is apparent that cartoon-like pictures of prostitutes posing seductively meet Barry Pittard and Robert Priddy’s wholesome views on morality and decency.

Barry Pittard and Robert Priddy have yet to say one word about Alan Kazlev’s penchant to tell raunchy and pornographic stories about erect penises, wanton sex and obscene references to women as being “cunts” (Ref)! As a matter of fact, when Barry Pittard and Robert Priddy attempt to defend themselves against Joe Moreno (a Pro-Sai Activist) they direct their readers to Reincarnator, New Age Advocate and Grungy Integral Philosopher: Alan Kazlev's website (located at kheper.net). Don’t expect Barry Pittard and Robert Priddy to divulge these facts.

Psuedo-moralist Robert Priddy published this disgusting and malicious picture of Leo Rebello on his former angeltowns domain (click thumbnail to enlarge):

Robert Priddy’s angeltowns account was deleted in its entirety due to a $1,000,000 legal threat for defamation by Leo Rebello. Barry Pittard endorsed Robert Priddy’s malicious photo-attacks against Leo Rebello and continually vouches for Priddy’s so-called “honesty” and “integrity”.

Barry Pittard whined considerably about this Grinch “photo alteration” of Robert Priddy created by Moreno. About this picture, Barry Pittard said:

Needless to say, the manipulated picture of Robert Priddy has never been published on Moreno’s ‘Sathya Sai Baba – Life, Love and Spirituality’ WordPress blog. The composite image was published on Moreno’s Robert Priddy Exposed Blog. As a matter of fact, Barry Pittard’s screencap was taken from Moreno’s blogger page (not his Wordpress blog) as evidenced by the background. Apparently, Barry Pittard’s mental faculties are failing him as he is wholly unable to differentiate between two completely different blogs with two completely different backgrounds.

Robert Priddy published this image of Moreno (making him look like a masked terrorist) on his Anti-Baba Wordpress blogs (which Wordpress subsequently forced him to delete due to copyright infringement). Barry Pittard approved of Robert Priddy’s photo attack against Moreno and even linked to the article that contained that picture:

WHY did Robert Priddy “photo attack” Moreno when he publicly speaks out against this type of reprehensible behavior? Why did Robert Priddy think it is was entirely appropriate and correct for him to create and publish a “manipulated” image against Moreno but that it is was entirely inappropriate and incorrect when Moreno created and published a “manipulated” image against Robert Priddy?

WHY does Barry Pittard condemn Moreno for creating a “manipulated” image of Robert Priddy yet says absolutely nothing about Robert Priddy’s “manipulated” image of Moreno?

Furthermore, Barry Pittard and Robert Priddy publicly approved Reinier Van Der Sandt’s manipulated image of Sathya Sai Baba holding hands with Idi Amin, posted the “manipulated” picture on their Anti-Baba Wordpress blogs and publicly defended Reinier Van Der Sandt for having created it (click thumbnail to enlarge)!

What was that again about Robert Priddy’s complaints against people who “manipulate” and “distort” pictures of others? Robert Priddy is a yellow-bellied hypocrite with proof! Far be it for Robert Priddy to criticize others about their looks when he looks like he is turning into The Grinch Who Stole Christmas (See For Yourself). Far be it for bald-bird Barry Pittard to criticize others about their looks when he looks decades older than Sathya Sai Baba and when his “turkey throat” migrated north and sought refuge under his eyes as bulging eye bags (click thumbnail to enlarge):

Why doesn’t Barry Pittard express any outrage about Robert Priddy’s “photo attacks” and “diabolizing photo alterations” against Sathya Sai Baba? In the second picture above, Barry Pittard posted a purposely distorted picture of Sathya Sai Baba on his WordPress blog (attempting to deceive readers into thinking the picture was an original photo published on the SaiBabaOfIndia domain). The third and fourth pictures are typical “photo attacks” published on Barry Pittard’s Anti-Baba WordPress blog. Barry Pittard even attacks and publishes pictures of people who are not involved in the Sai Controversy.

What was that again about Barry Pittard’s complaints about “photo attacks” and “diabolizing photo alterations”? Barry Pittard is also a yellow-bellied hypocrite with proof!

Robert Priddy purposely suppresses the fact that his own son, Kai Nicolai Priddy, played in a rock band that used dildos and transvestites as theatrics and also worked as an engineer for a music group whose CD cover depicts a nude man covering his penis with his hands (Ref). One will not find a single grunt of dissapproval coming from pseudo-moralist Robert Priddy about his own son's involvment with kink and “images of a pornographic kind”. So when Robert Priddy foams-at-the-mouth, gnashes his teeth and shrieks about “manipulated” & “distorted” images and images of a “pornographic kind”, one can't help but to laugh at loud at him and his self-righteous posturing.

Despite Barry Pittard’s amusing attempts to publicly present himself as a moralist and purist, he miserably failed to explain why he permitted his 12-year-old son Sai Isa to friend a 21 year-old nudist on Myspace named Sahra who posted a soft-porn image of her nude body (baring a breast that has a pierced nipple) as her MySpace background! Since Sai Isa is living with Barry Pittard and since Barry Pittard is well aware of his son’s MySpace account, one can only wonder why the moralist and purist Barry Pittard is not shielding his 12-year-old son from graphic, sexual and inappropriate content on MySpace. Perhaps Barry Pittard drools over his son’s MySpace friends in tune with his highly questionable past?

Even more disturbing is how Barry Pittard is dishonestly peddling himself as a “professor” in an upcoming documentary entitled Shadow of the Guru. Barry Pittard is openly allying himself with Joan Radha Bridges (the CEO & Executive Producer of the Shadow of the Guru documentary) who is openly into kinky, graphic, lesbian, goth and satanic imagery (mostly of a “pornographic kind”). To Date: Neither Barry Pittard or Robert Priddy have voiced a single complaint against Joan Radha Bridges and her kinky graphic, lesbian, goth and satanic imagery (mostly of a “pornographic kind”) on her MySpace page.

So when Barry Pittard and Robert Priddy complain about “photo attacks”, “diabolizing photo alterations”, “manipulated images” and “images of a pornographic kind” against Gerald Joe Moreno, they are putting on an unconvincing pseudo-moralistic performance in which hissy fits, finger pointing and pseudo-moral posturing are used to divert attention away from them and their gutter behaviors.

These are the types of hypocrites, moral degenerates, flip-floppers, pseudo-intellectuals and so-called “exposers” of Sathya Sai Baba. They are extremely adept in wagging their tongues but wholly inept in keeping their arguments and stories straight and consistent.

Thomas Wiehe And David Bailey Phone Conversation

In 1999 / 2000 a phone conversation between David Bailey and Thomas Wiehe was released as an MP3 on SaiGuru.net. Only half of the phone conversation was transcribed and cited by Ex-Devotees and Robert Priddy.

Gerald Joe Moreno stated that is was unknown who recorded the phone conversation between David Bailey and Thomas Wiehe (as the original article did not divulge that information). The dates for the phone call were given as “1999” and “around 2000”. The phone call appeared to be staged and planned because David Bailey was not only prepared for the phone call but the recording started with the phone ringing in his home.

Gerald Joe Moreno transcribed the full phone conversation and discovered why the full transcript was withheld by Ex-Devotees. As it turns out, David Bailey admitted to maintaining absolute silence for 18 months regarding the sexual abuse allegations against Sathya Sai Baba he claimed to have verified himself! What kind of person purposely withholds “evidence” of alleged sexual molestation and remains silent about it for 18 months (all the while allowing his stepson to be alone with the very same guru he alleged to be a sexual abuser!)?

During his 18 months of silence, David Bailey peddled himself as a Sai Devotee, gave talks praising Sathya Sai Baba as God Incarnate, sold his piano music to Sai Devotees and promoted his books eulogizing Sathya Sai Baba as the Avatar of the Age!

In his phone conversation with Thomas Wiehe, David Bailey claimed he lost his job and was only allowed to teach children in a classroom, was prohibited to work in the evenings with children and was prohibited from attending rehearsals with children! Needless to say, David Bailey’s employers obviously had sufficient reason to suspect David Bailey of questionable and inappropriate behavior with little children. David Bailey even admitted he had a “record” but attributed his “record” to Sathya Sai Baba (which David Bailey could not substaniate with any credible or verifiable references, documents or sources). Needless to say, it is illegal for employers to penalize someone for the alleged behavior of an association (how many Catholics would be penalized based on the Catholic Priest sex scandal?). Sathya Sai Baba has never (ever) been charged with any crime and no one has filed a basic police complaint against him in India. Prior to David Bailey’s “The Findings”, there were no known public allegations of “pedophilia” against Sathya Sai Baba. David Bailey even published a fraudulent and anonymous story of pedophilia against Sathya Sai Baba in “The Findings” (Ref).

To Date: David Baily has never (ever) filed a basic police complaint, public grievance or court case against Sathya Sai Baba in India for the alleged “evidence” of sexual abuse he claimed to have discovered. Why not? Why would David Bailey ignore the mandated reporting rules for allegations of sexual abuse when he claimed to have “evidence” and “documentation”? Perhaps because David Bailey’s so-called “evidence” and “documentation” have since been shown to be nothing more than unverifiable and unsubstantiated gossips and rumors.

Thomas Wiehe of Sweden: Meditation groups…(unclear: something about running a meditation group for the Sai Organization in Sweden)…one in August and have come to great doubt whether to have it or not. There’s possibility to have it outside the sai organization but I don’t feel like (unclear: words with laughter) So Irene, she was not quite sure, you mention something about Internet, do you have exact address?

David Bailey: If you look up under sai baba skeptics thats spelled with s-k…e-p-t-i-c-s, there is about 130 different aricles put together by a man called premanand. Now Premanand was very close to Swami before Terry Gallagher. Terry Gallagher was an Australian who spent five, six, seven years - and a (whole) day - with Swami. He was closer than I was with Swami. Then when he left, through having found out the truth of what is going on, I somehow became so close to Swami that for three years I was blind to what was going on... because I had been told what everybody else had been told. And then after our marriage we became even closer and became part of what it termed the inner circle. And when we saw for ourselves what was going on and realised what other people who’d been close also had experienced and why they had left, then when we did our world tour last year, it was disasterous... um..with so many things that we found.

We went back at Christmas to discover that everything that we had found was totally true; as soon as we got back to England, we had the fraud squad from Scotland Yard, the British Government's Foreign Office and the Charity Commissioners waiting for us with major investigations, um with proven fraud in some cases.

David Bailey: Fraud is mishandling of money - and the other thing which we had discovered was this homosexual activity. You know, to start off with we believed was only ..ah.. - shall we say - raising the kundalini within the student. This is what we were told, but then when we realised that it was not... and it was definitely not just Swami - well I have to be open and honest - playing with the students... but asking the student to actually make sexual acts on Swami, including oral sex. It was just ridiculous. And then the students at the college turned to me for help, because this has been going on for years, it is why the assassination attempts occurred... because the students were absolutely sick of him making them do things they didn't want to do. And I am grown up in my attitudes and realistic to realise that around the world many things happen between consenting adults, but when you are in a position of power as headmaster or teacher or guru or whatever you like... to make your students do things they do not wish to do, is not acceptable, and also in England - as I believe it is true in Sweden - it is illegal. And if Swami were in England he would been put in prison for twenty years.

Now that is my problem because at one of England's top preparatory schools for children from five to thirteen years old, the Royal family sent their children to this school... and I was suddenly made redundant. I lost my job and they asked me to continue with my job part time only to teach in the classroom - no work in the evenings... even we had performed one musical and they said you may not attend the rehearsals, you can only attend the performances.

David Bailey: But now I do. Because he is listed as a paedophile and around the world, um I was seen - with Faye - to be going round speaking for Swami. From the police, from the authorities from many countries... they saw David and Faye - and other people too - going to speak for Swami. As a result families would go out to Swami... sons, the young men would be sexually approached and come back, there is even one person in England that has committed suicide and we have stopped another one, we pray, from doing so. That has now ruined my career in England because I now have a record of being connected with him. When I spoke to the very close people - I have some very good friends there who know exactly what's going on - when you get to the inner circle it is a business, that's all they're interested in really, but people like Phyllis Krystal, people like Mike Hollander, who have been there for many years, they just turn around and they say 'If you consider he is God, he can do anything. He can have fraud, sex, drugs... anything. If you do not consider he is God, then of course you have a problem, because of the laws of your land, your morality, your own upbringing and your own standards. And they say David this is your problem to sort out, you must decide that he is God. I said this is crazy, the one that creates this beautiful world that we live in, does not come to this earth and do these ridiculous things. There is NO record in Prashanthi of him doing any healing at all. Any healing that has happened within people has been an internal personal thing, but there are very, very few serious records of this anyway. They will not accept that he could do anything like this, and they have pressurised the young men to say 'Oh I'm sorry... I made this up.'

There is a video that Magnus has got, which has been done a year ago, but is now just being broadcast two weeks ago on Irish television done by the television companies from Switzerland, Germany, Italy and Ireland, who got together because they are so horrified with what’s going on, that they have produced this documentary for about nearly one hour, not being unkind, but just to say these are the facts this is what you will find. And it has been very, very well put together and what is on that video I have first hand experience of and it is true. It’s very sad…

And Prince Charles had written to me about the possibility of going one day. And I suddenly thought what questions will they ask me? What answers can I give them? David Bailey: There is a ward that is still not open. They have not done any renal operations for a year. The money is questionable. With Isaac Tigrett, when the hospital was built, he gave $49 million dollars, well only $34 million went to the hospital. The rest well...it is just corrupt. Australian television did a program on him last year on the hospital. They had found that they were selling organs, etc. The hygiene of the hospital is disgusting. Now I know (name unclear) who is the top anesthetist from Australia who is there all time and he said to me, David you never, ever, ever, ever let anybody come to this hospital because they do not understand hygiene. It is just so sad. We’ve had several incidences where people have been refused entrance to the hospital and who need attention. They say they don’t have the money, but this does not make sense because of the money that I have seen being handed into the office every day.

The problem that we have is that the coordinators will say "this did not happen", or "this is an illusion", "this is a test". It is something that must be addressed. I know that (name unclear) the coordinator for the Russian speaking countries, he is going to speak to Indulal shah and to Swami about this in a weeks time because he has also had many problems. But still believes that Swami is God and God can do anything.

But this is not something that is in the real world. Before I found Swami, I had many, many experiences of people who could heal, people who are psychic who could see the future. And I have experiences of roses, the flowers, just appearing on the table in front of me. So these things were not something that were new to me. I accepted all this. And this is not something to base somebodys divinity on. So what do you base it on? Because over the centuries, the stories have never been like this. And it is only because we want it to be good. Can I also know how are you related to Sathya Sai Baba? Are you a devotee?

Also, I’d appreciate if you could say, in a few lines, why so many ex-devotees made the allegations?

Gerald Moreno responded the same day (May 11th 2010) and his full response can be found on the Vishal Arora Correspondence Page. Vishal Arora adamantly refused to answer any and all questions posed to him by Gerald Moreno. This type of one-way and secretive behavior is not what one would expect from a credible journalist or writer. Apparently, Vishal Arora has much to hide and is not interested in maintaining an open, sincere and two-way dialogue with Gerald Moreno, whom he intends to write about. The reasons for Visha Arora’s secrecy have since come to light and may be disturbing to some.

Our Heritage
New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary was founded in 1917 by an act of the Southern Baptist Convention at their annual meeting that year in New Orleans. Originally named “Baptist Bible Institute,” New Orleans Seminary was the first theological institution to be created by direct action of the Southern Baptist Convention. It was originally created as an undergraduate institution modeled after Moody Bible Institute. Gradually, the school began to move toward graduate level training, and in 1946 the Convention renamed the institution “New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary.”

The school was the fulfillment of a century-old dream of Baptists to establish a missionary training school in New Orleans as a gateway to Latin America, and as a mission center in the ungodly city of New Orleans. In 1914, P. I. Lipsey, editor of the Mississippi Baptist Record, wrote an impassioned editorial favoring the creation of a theological school in New Orleans: “A seminary (in New Orleans) would plant the Baptist cause in this city in a way that would immediately command the attention and the respect of all. It would be planting the siege guns at the enemies’ gates.”

Baptist Bible Institute opened its first session in October 1918 under the leadership of Byron H. DeMent, who served as president of the BBI from 1917 to 1928. “The Baptist Bible Institute is preeminently a child of providence and prayer,” DeMent said at his inauguration. Since that day, New Orleans Seminary has been known as “The School of Providence and Prayer.”

Others who have served as president of the school are William W. Hamilton Sr. (1928-42); Duke K. McCall (1943-46); Roland Q. Leavell (1946-58); H. Leo Eddleman (1959-70); Grady C. Cothen (1970-74); and Landrum P. Leavell II, nephew of Roland Leavell, (1974-95). On February 23, 1996, Dr. Charles S. “Chuck” Kelley, Jr., of Beaumont, Texas, was elected unanimously as the seminary’s eighth president. Prior to his election he had served at the seminary for 13 years as the Roland Q. Leavell Professor of Evangelism and most recently as the director of the Seminary’s Leavell Center for Evangelism and Church Health.

From its beginning until 1953, the school was located at 1220 Washington Avenue, in the heart of the Garden District of residential New Orleans. The current campus, at 3939 Gentilly Boulevard was purchased in 1947. The landmark entrance gates and fence from the Garden District mansion now are located on the front block of the Gentilly campus. The current property, once a 75-acre pecan orchard, has been transformed into a beautiful campus with more than 100 buildings. More than 20,000 men and women have prepared for ministry at New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary.

Our Doctrinal Commitments
All the faculty members of New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary subscribe to the school’ historic confession, the Articles of Religious Belief, and the Baptist Faith and Message 2000. Needless to say, a Baptist Theological Seminary would never purchase and register a domain for someone who was not strongly allied with them, their beliefs, their practices and their missionary objectives. The Southern Baptist Convention is one of the most conservative, evangelical and fundamentalist Christian Churches in the USA and also has the largest number of Christian missionaries (more so than all other USA Christian Churches combined). The Baptist Center for Theology & Ministry’s Faith & Message Statement and NOBTS Articles of Religious Belief are of particular interest. The Southern Baptist Convention believes:

“It is the duty and privilege of every follower of Christ and of every church of the Lord Jesus Christ to endeavor to make disciples of all nations. The new birth of man’s spirit by God's Holy Spirit means the birth of love for others. Missionary effort on the part of all rests thus upon a spiritual necessity of the regenerate life, and is expressly and repeatedly commanded in the teachings of Christ. The Lord Jesus Christ has commanded the preaching of the gospel to all nations. It is the duty of every child of God to seek constantly to win the lost to Christ by verbal witness undergirded by a Christian lifestyle, and by other methods in harmony with the gospel of Christ.” (Reference)

Moreno emailed Vishal Arora on May 11th 2010 about this information and said:

Gerald Moreno: “Dear Vishal Arora,

It is my sincere hope that when you write your article about Sathya Sai Baba that you will divulge any association you may have with NOBTS (New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary), which registered your official domain http://vishalarora.co.in/. The About NOBTS page is of particular interest.

When you are attempting to write about a spiritual teacher who has a large Hindu following in India, I think this information is highly relevant and necessary. Needless to say, I have written extensively about various Christian movements against Sathya Sai Baba and your Pro-Christian writings, your friendships with various Christians and your association with an evangelical Christian ministry raises several red flags.

I must also say I am very concerned about what appears to be an extensive communication between you and ex-devotees and how you wanted me to summarize my views in a ‘few lines’ (which is what prompted me to research your associations more closely).

Therefore, I kindly ask that you maintain transparency in your writings pertaining to Sathya Sai Baba so that you will not be accused of bias or having ulterior motives like Vir Sanghvi, Paul Lewis, Tanya Datta, Michelle Goldberg and NineMSN A Current Affair.

If you decide to withhold your association with NOBTS and if I feel that your article does not give due justice to both sides of the Sai Controversy, I will be forced to write about this issue and make it public.

Vishal Arora’s brother is Vivek Arora (Profile Subsequently Deleted - See Screencap):

Vivek Arora pursued his PhD at NOBTS (New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary) from 2004 - 2009 and is a Research Associate for the Center for New Testament Textual Studies (which is also associated with NOBTS). Furthermore, the North American Mission Board (NAMB) said the following about Vivek Arora:

NAMB: “As a young man living in India, Vivek Arora had a dream that he would someday find a book that would answer all his questions and that he would be instrumental in bringing people together in a way that would let them live in harmony. He discovered that book years later when he came to faith in Christ while reading a Hindi translation of the Bible. As for people living in harmony, he believes the Great Commission is God’s plan for that. Today, Vivek and his wife, Manisha, are church planting missionaries in Boston, reaching out to the international community that has gathered from around the world in one of America’s great cities. ‘We are reaching out to international students and professionals,’ Vivek says. ‘Many come here from their countries for two or three years. If we can reach them for Christ the impact will be greatly multiplied when they return to their home countries.’” (Reference)

However, it is irrelevant if Vivek Arora studied at NOBTS (the only relevance being a conservative, fundamentalist and evangelical Christian faith among members of the Arora family). NOBTS did not purchase and register a domain for Vivek Arora. NOBTS purchased and registered a domain for Vishal Arora. A Baptist Theological Seminary would never purchase and register a domain for someone who was not strongly allied with them, their beliefs, their practices and their missionary objectives. The fact that NOBTS purchased and registered Vishal Arora’s official domain strongly suggests he is allied with them and is possibly funded by them as well.

Considerable research was conducted into domains purchased by NOBTS and not even one other domain was found to be registered by NOBTS for any single individual besides Vishal Arora. Considering NOBTS Statement of Faith (that states there is no salvation apart from personal faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and that the unrighteous will be consigned to Hell, a place of everlasting punishment) and considering Vishal Arora’s ties with this conservative, fundamentalist and evangelical Christian organization, it is very difficult to accept Vishal Arora’s Christian faith along with his comments about respecting all religions and their followers. It is also very disturbing that Vishal Arora, as a Christian convert, would be writing about Sathya Sai Baba (a revered spiritual teacher who happens to have a large Hindu following in India and a large multi-faith following world-wide).

Although Vishal Arora does not write “Anti-Hindu” articles per se, he does write extensively about communal violence in India against the Christian minority that tends to demonize “Hindu Nationalists”, “Hindu Extremists” and “Right-Wing Hindus” (which are subjective descriptions often used on the internet to formulate “Christian vs Hindu” arguments). Vishal Arora has argued extensively against “Hindu Nationalists”, “Hindu Extremists”, “Right-Wing Hindus” and anyone he believes may be associated with them (which happens to include various gurus and spiritual teachers in India with large Hindu followings). In an article entitled “Religion and Politics in India”, Vishal Arora wrote:

Vishal Arora: “Religious leaders have enormous followings and acceptability in India. Not only the people, but also the politicians seek their ‘blessings’. There are many Hindu gurus who are known for their overt support to the BJP’s Hindu nationalist agenda. These gurus include Sadhvi Ritambhara, Morari Bapu, Asaram Bapu, Vasudevanand Saraswati, and Swami Satyamitranand Giri.

In July 2008, high-profile spiritual gurus, Sri Sri Ravi Shankar and Swami Ramdev, were the special guests at the launch of the Hindi version of BJP leader Advani’s autobiography, ‘My Country My Life’, in Bhopal, the capital of Madhya Pradesh state. The gurus reportedly praised Advani in their address.” (Reference)

Consequently, it is not surprising that Vishal Arora, as a Christian convert, is taking aim at popular gurus and spiritual teachers in India (who have large Hindu followings) and is attempting to associate them with “Hindu Nationalists”, “Hindu Extremists” and “Right Wing Hindus”. Vishal Arora only writes one-way articles about alleged Christian persecution in India that systematically demonizes “Hindu Nationalists”, “Hindu Extremists” and “Right Wing Hindus”. Needless to say, there is another side to the Christian persecution stories. In India, one cannot travel anywhere without seeing Christian graffiti painted on boulders near main traffic routes and on the rocks on high mountains tops. The author has personally seen these things all over India. How would Christians feel if Muslims or Hindus painted their religious symbols on boulders near main traffic routes and on the rocks on high mountain tops in their predominantly Christian countries? If this happened, there would be undeniable hostility and anger against Muslims or Hindus. Yet, when Christians paint their graffiti in India (which is predominantly a Hindu country) they cry “persecution” and play “martyrs” when Hindus and Muslims get hostile and angry with them. Why should Hindus and Muslims have to endure this type of fanatic religious behavior from minority Christians in their homeland?

There have been stories of Christians throwing beef on Hindu idols (Ref), Christians killing Hindus (Refs: 01 - 02 - 03 - 04), a Catholic priest (who was criminally charged with sexually assaulting a 14-year-old girl in Minnesota) being protected by his home diocese in India (Ref) and even fellow Christians admitting to the aggressiveness of Christian missionaries in India (Refs: 01 - 02).

Sita Ram Goel, K. M. Panikkar, Arun Shourie, M.S. Srinivasan and Gauri Viswanathan have written extensively and intelligently about conversion tactics in India by Christian missionaries (Ref: 01 - 02 - 03) and have sounded refuted Vishal Arora’s claim that Christianity came to India with the arrival of Apostle Thomas in Kerala in 52 AD (Ref). Christians have created an Indian Bible using Hindu imagery & Hindu scriptures and have also adopted Hindu names and outfits to trick Hindus into accepting Jesus Christ (Refs: 01 - 02 - 03 - 04). Other types of inculturation and assimilation ploys include the Hindu’ization of Jesus Christ and Christian symbols (the cross in English letters reads “Om Namah Cristaya” meaning “Om Obeisance to Jesus Christ” and “Christa Sharanam” meaning “Jesus Christ is our Refuge”):

Vishal Arora And The Oxford Centre for Religion and Public Life

As mentioned in the introduction, Vishal Arora has presented papers on the mixing of religion and politics in seminars organised by the Oxford Centre for Religion and Public Life in Washington DC (which focused on the dangers of “Hindu Nationalists”, “Hindu Extremists” and “Right Wing Hindus”). Do not let the fancy name fool you, the Oxford Centre For Religion and Public Life is a USA-based Christian organization founded by the Reverend Dr. Arne Fjeldstad (who is also the “Head of Communications” for the Anglican group GAFCON). The Oxford Centre For Religion and Public Life created the “project” domain GetReligion.org, which is owned and registered by Terry Mattingly (an Eastern Orthodox Christian who directs the Washington Journalism Center at the Council for Christian Colleges and Universities). All of the contributors for GetReligion.org are Christians (mostly Christian converts and/or Orthodox Christians). Videos of a very nervous Vishal Arora (notice the repeated blinking of his eyes and gulping movements in his throat) were created by the Oxford Centre for Religion and Public Life and published on YouTube:

Vishal Arora was filmed in Washington DC by a Christian organization where he talked against “Right Wing Hindus”. Since Vishal Arora is an independent writer from India with no known ties to any specific media organization, where exactly is Vishal Arora getting his paycheck from and who is sponsering and/or funding his expensive trips to the USA?

Vishal Arora Invokes The Swastika Against Hindu Nationalists

Vishal Arora wrote an article entitled Swastika Terrorism, which claimed “The Indian government is ignoring the surge of Hindutva terrorism at its own risk.” Why would Vishal Arora associate a known Hindu symbol with “Hindutvas” (movements advocating for Hindu nationalism)?

The word “swastika” is derived from the Sanskrit word “svastika”, meaning any lucky or auspicious object, and in particular a mark made on persons and things to denote good luck. It is composed of “su” meaning “good, well” and “asti” “to be”. Svasti thus means “well-being”.

As noted by Monier-Williams in his Sanskrit–English dictionary, according to Alexander Cunningham, the swastika represents a monogram formed by interlacing of the letters of the auspicious words su-asti (svasti) written in Ashokan characters. Archaeological evidence of swastika-shaped ornaments dates from the Neolithic period in Ancient India. The swastika occurs mainly in the modern day culture of India, sometimes as a geometrical motif and sometimes as a religious symbol. It remains widely used in Indian religions such as Hinduism, Buddhism and Jainism. Though once commonly used all over much of the world without stigma, because of its iconic usage in Nazi Germany the symbol has become stigmatized in the Western world, notably even outlawed in Germany

In Christianity, the swastika was used as a hooked version of the Christian Cross, the symbol of Christ’s victory over death. Some Christian churches built in the Romanesque and Gothic eras are decorated with swastikas, carrying over earlier Roman designs. Swastikas are prominently displayed in a mosaic in the St. Sophia church of Kiev, Ukraine dating from the 12th century. Swastikas also appear as a repeating ornamental motif on a tomb in the Basilica of St. Ambrose in Milan (Reference).

Vishal Arora’s invocation of the swastika stimga is a direct attack against Hindus who have been using that religious symbol for thousands of years. Vishal Arora, as a Christian convert, would appear to be inciting hostility and hatred against Hindus to his mainly Christian readers who are not familiar with the Hindu religion and its history with the swastika. As a matter of fact, fanatic Christians often claim that Hindus are “Nazi inspired”, “Hitler inspired”, “swastika worshipping”, “Nazi terrorists” , “using Nazi tactics”, “idolators”, “satanists”, “swastika terrorists”, etc. Shame of Vishal Arora for using the Hindu swastika as a prop to stigmatize Hindu Nationalists.

The Council for Micah Challenge has ten members drawn from the leadership of Evangelical Alliances and Christian relief and development agencies from around the world. Tehmina Arora also has a long-time family history involvement with the Lalbagh Methodist Church in India. According to Kuruvilla Chandy (an Indian Pastor), Tehmina Arora and her Grand-Parents worshipped at the Lalbagh Methodist Church:

“Dr B Jeyaraj and I were room mates at seminary. He was my junior then. Today he is a professor in Old Testament studies. Tehmina Arora is the grand daughter of a couple who worshipped at the Lalbagh Methodist Church when I was pastor there. She has visited and worshipped at Lalbagh during my time. She is now in charge of the legal department of the Evangelical Fellowship of India. Both Jeyaraj and Tehmina were at the conference in Bangalore” (Reference)

This might explain why Vishal Arora made no mention to Tehmina Arora on his official domain. To Date: Neither Vishal Arora or Tehmina Arora have publicly divulged their husband/wife relationship (the FaceBook association where their relationship was discovered is private and can only be seen by members: See: Vishal Arora on FaceBook - Tehmina Arora on FaceBook).

Vishal Arora - In Conclusion

Vishal Arora has gone to great extents to package and present himself and his writings as unbiased and neutral. This couldn’t be further from the truth. Vishal Arora is a Christian convert, his wife and brother are conservative, fundamentalist and evangelical Christians and his official domain (vishalarora.co.in) was purchased and registered for him by the USA conservative, fundamentalist and evangelical Christian group NOBTS (New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary), which believes:

“It is the duty and privilege of every follower of Christ and of every church of the Lord Jesus Christ to endeavor to make disciples of all nations.”...“The heathen, then, are under condemnation just as well as those who hear and reject the gospel, for they are sinners by both nature and practice.”...“We believe that the Christian life begins with conversion.” (Refs: 01 - 02)

Vishal Arora is also affiliated with the Christian organization “Oxford Centre for Religion and Public Life” and the Christian news agency “Compass Direct News”. Therefore, Vishal Arora’s writings and views about “Hindu Nationalists”, “Hindu Extremists” and “Right Wing Hindus” are biased, self-serving and written with ulterior motives. Vishal Arora and Tehmina Arora have a Christian agenda that specifically targets “Right-Wing Hindus” (which can actually refer to any Hindu who does not denounce Hinduism and accept Christianity) and anyone they perceive as having affiliations with “Right-Wing Hindus”.

Vishal Arora, Tehmina Arora, Vivek Arora and NOBTS are “Right-Wing Christians” who feel it is their religious duty and moral imperative to convert Hindus to their Christian faith. So when Vishal Arora “innocently” takes aim at popular gurus and spiritual teachers in India (who have large Hindu followings) and attempts to associate them with “Right-Wing Hindus”, make no mistake about it: Vishal Arora is on a Christian crusade for his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

This cursory information is only the tip of the iceberg. This is why I told you that a fair and balanced article regarding the Sai Controversy cannot be summarized in a few lines.

If I must summarize my views in a few paragraphs, I think I would say (using the former webpages as guides and references):

The allegations against Sathya Sai Baba are made despite NO court cases ever being filed, first-hand, in a court of law in India by any alleged victim. Not even one alleged victim has utilized FREE, “world class legal resources” to bring Sathya Sai Baba to justice. Not even ONE single affidavit has ever been made public (despite numerous claims to “20”, “scores” and “over a hundred” affidavits being in existence and published on the internet). The Sai Petition signatures have NEVER been independently verified. “Evidence” is cited from mostly anonymous sources or from people using a first name or a pseudonym. The sexual abuse allegations against Sathya Sai Baba are dispersed by people who were never abused themselves and who never witnessed a single incident of alleged abuse themselves. Critics and ex-devotees have defamed and libeled Sathya Sai Baba and others in the vilest way, yet whenever anyone questions them and their character, all of a sudden they are beyond reproach. Critics and ex-devotees have even libeled Gerald Moreno with falsified and fraudulent sexual abuse accusations. All of these facts point to a cultish, secretive, hate-group that tries to mislead the general public with propaganda, disinformation and rhetoric. No documents. No affidavits. No court cases. No first-hand complaints filed in India. No independent agencies verifying their alleged “evidence”. No anything.

Ex-devotees have said the Sai Organisation “failed to exercise duty of care and ignored mandated reporting” regarding allegations of sexual abuse. Actually, the only people who have “failed to exercise duty of care and ignored mandated reporting” are alleged victims and their mothers and fathers who have all (without exception) failed and refused to file a single police complaint, court case or public grievance in India against Sathya Sai Baba. These irrefutable facts strongly solidify the argument that Sathya Sai Baba never abused anyone and alleged victim’s accounts are highly unbelievable and come from non-credible sources.

The big question that critics and ex-devotees continually ignore is:

WHY should the Sai Organisation resort to the legalistic process of “mandated reporting” regarding internet rumors when all of the alleged victims (without exception) and all of their mothers, fathers and relatives (without exception) have all failed and refused to resort to the legalistic process of “mandated reporting” themselves against the Sai Organisation? Why would parents all ignore the alleged sexual molestations of their children?

Instead of harping on the legal and moral duties of the Sai Organisation, critics and ex-devotees should be focusing on the legal and moral duties of alleged victims and their mothers and fathers (all of whom have never filed any sort of legalistic complaints in India against Sathya Sai Baba).

I believe that I am in a unique position to call into question the integrity and credibility of many ex-devotees because many of them have openly libeled me as being sexually abused by Sathya Sai Baba and many of them have resorted to bold-faced disinformation (including screencap fraud). What do you consider to be ex-devotees strongest arguments against Sathya Sai Baba? Did you contact ex-devotees first or did they contact you first?

I sincerely hope you research this issue thoroughly and I sincerely hope that you do not make the same mistake NineMSN did when they relied almost entirely on ex-devotees for their information and ended up withdrawing their video when their blatant disinformation was exposed on my website.

Regarding your conversion to Christianity, may you kindly tell me where you openly published that information? I read many of your articles and I never found a single reference where you referred to yourself as a Christian (although you do tend to cite passages from the Bible).

This brings us to Kyra Kitts and her “lunatic fringe” claims to being a clairvoyant and a psychic healer. Kyra Kitts (an Ex-Devotee of Sathya Sai Baba residing in San Luis Obispo) had her own website (“kyrakitts.net”, which is no longer online) for close to five years in which she solicited herself as a psychic, clairvoyant and spiritual healer who could perform in-person and long-distance healings. She claimed to have been “overtly psychic since approximately age eleven”. Kyra Kitts claimed that H. H. Dilgo Khyentse Rinpoche began appearing to her in inner visions and spoke to her in Tibetan. She also claimed that Sathya Sai Baba appeared to her in a semi-awake/semi-asleep vision that radically changed her life. When she visited Sai Baba in India, she was tormented with “bizarre sexual thoughts”, even in Baba’s presence. Kyra Kitts claimed that while walking by the meditation bench behind the mandir, she psychically perceived Sathya Sai Baba “in his room masturbating, looking out his window, and laughing at the crowd”. Kyra Kitts said that Sathya Sai Baba looked like a “Fijian gorilla” and referred to the guru as “Sai Bob, sex cowboy”. Kyra Kitts has/had numerous, chronic, physical ailments that affected her mentally (admittedly) for many years. The saiguru.net domain is registered to Juan Roman Lomeli Quintanilla, from Jalisco, Mexico.

Members of FMSR (Ivan Lomeli Quintanilla, Gabriela Quintanilla Trevino, Mariana Lomeli Quintanilla, Natalia Lomeli Quintanilla, Lionel Fernandez Lopez, Margarita Sanchez Van Dyck, Girasol Jimenez Ortega, Diana Ortega de Jimenez, Alfonso Peniche Ballesteros & Guillermo Santos Valle) have all signed the bogus Sai Petition against Sathya Sai Baba. Unas tres o cuatro norias, un río contaminado y los camiones de agua presuntamente potable eran las fuentes de abastecimiento del líquido vital con la que contaban cerca de 100 familias. Indiferencia, falta de esperanza y conflictos entre sus pobladores marcaban las características psicológicas de la población.

El trabajo de la FMSR consiste en detectar las dificultades, tanto a nivel personal como familiar o del poblado en general y gestionar o proveer la ayuda necesaria. Además de educación, alimentación y asesoría psicológica, la Fundación es instrumento para que la población pueda recibir los beneficios disponibles en las diferentes dependencias del gobierno que los ciudadanos en lugares remotos ignoran. English: The Miguel Sánchez del Río Foundation (FMSR) was created in 1984 as a way to help society in bettering the life style of individuals, families and communities in the rural area of the State of Jalisco, Mexico.

Due to the fact that the initiators of the project obtained 200 acres of farm land as the headquarters of the project in the State of Jalisco, the first experiments were carried out in the neighboring town of Maltaraña, a place that seemed to illustrate all of the main characteristics typical of the communities in rural areas. It was also evident that the inhabitants of these communities were lacking in information of the different government projects with which they could be helped.

The conditions of their living quarters, the lack of potable water and some of the most basic needs for healthy living made Maltaraña an ideal model with which to start. Three or four artisan wells next to a a highly contaminated river were the source of the precious liquid for 100 famlies. Indiference, hopelessness and conflicts among the individuals marked the socio-psychological characteristics of the population.

The work of the Foundation consists in detecting difficulties, being at a personal, family or community level and then taking the necessary steps to provide or obtain help. In addition to providing education, nutrition and professional counseling, the Foundation becomes a liason to help obtain the benefits that are available through government programs of which sometimes the communities are not aware. Tanya Datta held Basava Premanand in such great esteem, she figured him prominently on the main page of her official domain.

Tanya Datta’s close association and work with Indian rationalists, skeptics and atheists (Refs: 01 – 02 – 03 – 04 – 05) lends credence to the perception that Tanya Datta is biased against Gurus and her output about Sathya Sai Baba is similarly interpreted.

Andries Krugers Dagneaux (former webmaster and “Main Representative, Supervisor and Contact” for the largest Anti-Sai website on the internet, hetnet.nl/~exbaba: Reference) made several very disturbing claims that Tanya Datta (correspondent for the BBC in the production of the Secret Swami documentary) and the BBC itself accepted, promoted the views of and were sympathetic with Ex-Devotees: Reference!

Tanya Datta and the BBC purposely suppressed behind-the-scenes collaboration with Indian rationalists and skeptics. As a matter of fact, the IHEU (International Humanist and Ethical Union – An Atheist & Rationalist group) said the following about the “Secret Swami” Program:

Khushwant Singh (an Indian Journalist interviewed by Tanya Datta in the Secret Swami program) stated in the GuruBusters video that he holds Anti-Guru and rationalist views. Mr Singh said, “What you cannot prove by your reason, we reject…I reject God…I can only be wishful and say I hope that rationalism will thrive in this country as it has in some others.” For some mysterious reason, Mr Singh’s Anti-Guru and Rationalist views were not divulged by either Tanya Datta or the BBC.

In “Response To Form Interrogatories” in Alaya Rahm’s self-dismissed lawsuit against the Sathya Sai Baba Society (Form Interrogatory No. 6.3, Set One) Alaya Rahm fully admitted that he had been a daily user of illegal street drugs and alcohol from 1995 – 2005. Consequently, during Alaya Rahm’s interviews and during the filming of the BBC Documentary “Secret Swami”, Alaya Rahm was under the influence of illegal street drugs and alcohol while relating his alleged sexual encounters with Sathya Sai Baba. This crucial information wholly undermines Alaya Rahm’s credibility and irreparably compromises the integrity of his claims. In conclusion, Tanya Datta’s strong-ties with rationalists, skeptics and atheists sheds a new light on the “Secret Swami” documentary. Who are Terry Lee Scott and Diane Scott and what role do they have in the Sai Controversy?

What makes Terry Lee Scott and Diane Scott’s claims credible?

Terry Lee Scott

Terry Lee Scott is an American who studied at Sathya Sai Baba’s educational center in South India when his parents (Terrence Payne and Diana Scott Payne) were Sai Baba devotees.

For reasons unknown and yet to be explained, Terry Lee Scott was “expelled in disgrace” from Sathya Sai Baba’s educational center. Shortly thereafter, Terry Lee Scott made allegations against the Guru (the specifics of which have never been revealed). It has yet to be established whether Terry Lee Scott was actually sexually molested or whether he vindicitively repeated gossipy rumors against the Guru (which can be traced to fundamentalist Christian Tal Brooke).

The fact that Terry Lee Scott made his dubious allegations just after being “expelled in disgrace” from the hostel, strongly suggests an agenda of vindictiveness and retaliation.

Terry Lee Scott has never himself spoke out against Sai Baba. Rather, Terry Lee Scott’s allegations are propagandized by Ex-Devotee’s who never met or spoke to him. It is also peculiar that Terrence Payne (the father) did not believe Terry Lee’s allegations against Sathya Sai Baba, which resulted in a divorce between him and Diane. Terrence Payne would have known intimate details about Terry Lee Scott’s allegations and Terrence Payne was not convinced!

Diana Scott - Diane Scott

Diana Scott (formerly “Diana Payne” who officially spells her name as “Diane Scott”) is an Art Historian and Certified Ecstatic Trance teacher who is partnered with Jack Satkoski in Idaho (Ref). Diane Scott earned degrees from the University of California in both Art History and Art Studio. Diane Scott is involved with various New Age practices and has taught classes on “shamanic trance postures” as a certified instructor at the Cuyamungue Institute, just north of Santa Fe in New Mexico.

Although Ex-Devotees have strongly implied that Terry Lee Scott was sexually molested in some manner, Diana Scott never attempted to file a basic police complaint, court case or public grievance against Sathya Sai Baba in India for any alleged impropriety. Rather, Diana Scott simply wrote complaint letters to various people in the Sai Organisation. What kind of mother would simply write complaint letters regarding her son’s alleged abuse?

Another very disturbing fact about Diana Scott is that she allowed Ex-Devotees to use her former name of “Diane Payne” to promote their dishonest and factually inaccurate response pertaining to Alaya Rahm’s failed and self-dismissed lawsuit against the Sathya Sai Baba Society Of America.

Although Gerald Joe Moreno personally emailed Diane Scott regarding her alleged involvement in Alaya Rahm’s lawsuit, she adamantly refused to respond.

About Diane Scott (aka “Diane Payne”) Ex-Devotees said:

“Among others ready to testify to the court was the former Mrs Diane Payne - USA. Hislop mentioned her in the letters he wanted kept secret that describe her having written to him alleging Sai Baba’s sexual abuse of her then teenage son in the 1970’s. Her child was then a student at Sai Baba’s College at Whitefield, near Bangalore.”

Needless to say, Diane Scott (aka “Diane Payne”) was never mentioned in official court records and no deposition was taken from her.

Ex-Devotees similarly claimed that Timothy Conway was “another strong witness standing by” to testify in Alaya Rahm’s case. When Gerald Joe Moreno directly questioned Timothy Conway about Ex-Devotee’s dubious claim, Conway replied:

Timothy Conway: “NO, i was never called as a witness, and was never asked to submit a deposition on his behalf...In any case, Al never asked me for any help in this matter.” (Ref)

Since Diane Scott’s name was never mentioned in official court records, Ex-Devotee’s use of her name is dishonest and fraudulent. Diane Scott has indirectly allowed and supported Ex-Devotee’s dishonesty and fraudulence by refusing to disassociate herself from their propaganda.

Why are Robert Priddy and Barry Pittard foaming at their mouths, raising huge wails, gnashing their teeth and acting as a proxy spokespersons for alleged victims when they had no direct experience of what they allege to be “irrefutably true”? Robert Priddy and Barry Pittard’s homoerotic assumptions, homoerotic speculations and homoerotic conspiracies about “genital oilings” arise solely from their groins and not from any first-hand experience. The more Robert Priddy and Barry Pittard drool, squirm and obsess over alleged “genital oilings”, the more one wonders why Robert Priddy and Barry Pittard are so thoroughly fascinated by that topic. More importantly, one is left to wonder why the parents to all of the alleged “victims” have never (ever) filed a single public grievance, basic police complaint or court case in India against the Guru.

Robert Priddy and Barry Pittard not only acts as a proxy spokesperson for alleged victims, they also act as “proxy guardians” because alleged victim’s mothers and fathers have all (without exception) failed in their moral, ethical and legal duties by ignoring the alleged molestations of their children. The reason why Robert Priddy and Barry Pittard do not shut up is because if they did, the silence would be deafening because no one else besides critics are making all the fuss. As a matter of fact, going back to 2001, people sympathetic with Ex-Devotees rightly pointed out that the allegations against Sathya Sai Baba lacked substance because the only people making the fuss were people who were never abused and who never witnessed a single instance of alleged abuse (Ref).

Ex-Devotees (including Robert Priddy and Barry Pittard) ceaselessly reference the alleged credibility of Ullrich Zimmermann (a German ex-devotee of Sathya Sai Baba and current devotee of the alleged 35,000 year-old Lemurian Warrior and Ascended Master “Ramtha”). Although Ullrich Zimmermann made several unbelievable and graphic claims about Sathya Sai Baba (which he originally recalled while drunk at a Ramtha “wine ceremony”), Ullrich Zimmermann related an alleged oiling experience that was completely and wholly non-sexual.

According to Ullrich Zimmermann, Sathya Sai Baba rubbed materialized oil down the “kundalini line” on his chest and was instantaneously and miraculously cured of a chronic breathing ailment due to too much smoking. Although Ullrich Zimmermann apparently had nothing to hide and divulged alleged “tantric” experiences with the Guru, his only alleged “oiling” experience never involved his pubic region or genitals and he never had his pants pulled down.

Since Robert Priddy and Barry Pittard believe Ullrich Zimmermann (despite bashing and trashing channelers, mediums and New Age believers as being “superstitionists” belonging to the “lunatic fringe” seen in cults, ashrams and New Religious Movements), one is left to wonder why Robert Priddy and Barry Pittard ceaselessly fantasize about “genital oilings” when Ullrich Zimmermann (who apparently had nothing to hide) described his “oiling” to be wholly and completely non-sexual. As a matter of fact, Ullrich Zimmermann’s mother is still a Sai Devotee and apparently felt that her son’s alleged encounters with Sathya Sai Baba were just as miraculous and wonderful as he described them to be. Ullrich Zimmermann even claimed that his alleged “white tantric” experiences with Sathya Sai Baba were “honors” conferred upon him (which made the person filming Zimmermann’s account gasp out loud)!

In conclusion, Robert Priddy and Barry Pittard need to shut up and let the alleged victims and their mothers and fathers talk for themselves. The fact that alleged victims and their mothers and fathers are not talking for themsleves strongly suggests that Sathya Sai Baba did nothing wrong. Robert Priddy, Barry Pittard and other Ex-Devotees should take their gripes to the parents of alleged victims and should be castigating them for ignoring their children’s alleged molestations. The only “third party investigation” that needs to be conducted is that into the blatant neglect and shocking apathy that the parents have shown in regards to their children’s alleged molestations.

Sathya Sai Baba has never (ever) been charged with any crime, sexual or otherwise and critics cannot provide a scintilla of credible or verifiable information to the contrary. All the smoke is created by a bunch of whiners who have nothing better to do than monomaniacally blog against Sathya Sai Baba on almost a daily basis (sometimes twice or thrice daily).

After the President and her entourage left the Nilayam, the three students who had performed Burra Katha on the previous day on the life of Mother Easwaramma gave another performance on the life of Shirdi Sai Baba.

As is the custom, the artistes began their performance by offering their salutations to Lord Ganesh. As they were offering their salutations to Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba, the traditional garlanding took place. The students began their interesting narration on the life of Shirdi Sai Baba supplementing it with songs and humour. Delineating on the birth of Shirdi Sai Baba, the artistes said that He was born to Hindu parents Devagiriamma and Gangabhavadia. The Divine couple Parvati-Parameswara appeared before Devagiriamma and Gangabhavadia and foretold that He would be born to them as their third child. The couple who were childless till then gave birth to a daughter and son. On 28th September 1835, Shirdi Sai Baba was born in the village of Patri. Though born to Hindu parents, Shirdi Sai Baba was brought by a Muslim couple. As a child, He used to go to a Hindu temple and proclaim about Allah and speak about Rama in a Mosque. He advocated the concept “Sabka Malik Ek Hai” (One God governs all).

From the year 1858, Baba lived in Shirdi. He spent his early days under a neem tree and later lived in the Masjid which he named as Dwarakamai or Mother Dwaraka. Baba used to feed the fakirs and devotees and even cook for them. Baba had a profound love and compassion for suffering humanity. The master used to personally attend to the needs of the sick as a physician and a nurse. Baba distributed the holy ‘Udi’ - the panacea for all troubles to his devotees. ‘Udi’ is the ash from the perpetual sacred fire - Dhuni lit by Baba. The Udi is the token of His divine grace to all who come to Him for help. He begged for alms and shared what he got with his devotees and all the creatures around him.

Once during the festival of lights, Deepavali, Baba wanted to light lamps in Dwarakamai. As the shopkeepers refused to give Him oil, Baba just poured water on the lamps and lighted them. One can call it was only a tip of the iceberg. Baba performed many such miracles in His lifetime. He lived for 83 years and attained Samadhi in the year 1918.

Thus ended another beautiful narration by the three artistes. Bhagawan blessed the Prasadam to be distributed to all the devotees. Arati was offered to Bhagawan at 6.00 p.m. before He retired to His Abode.

PUTTAPARTI: President Pratibha Patil today had a darshan of Sri Satya Saibaba and later had a private audience with the Holy man for over 30 minutes at the Prashantha Nilayam here.

The President arrived here at the Satya Sai Airport from Banagalore at 4.10 p.m. and straight away drove to Srinivasa Guest House in the Prashanthi Nilayam. After spending some time at the Guest house, Pratibha Patil drove down to Sai Kulvant Hall.

She first had the darshan of the Swamy and later went inside the green room and had a personal talk with Satya Saibaba for about half hour. She left Puttaparti for Bangalore at 5.20 p.m.

Satya Sai Central Trust members, Industries Minister Geetha Reddy, Ananatapur ZP chairperson T Kavitha, Collector V Anilkumar, Rayalaseema IG R P Thakur and SP MK Singh received the President with official honours.

Police made elaborate bandobast for the visit of the President. Srinivasa Guest House was taken over by the SPG. Besides dog squads and bomb disposable squads, Armed Reserve Police, seven DSPs, 14 CIs, 26 SIs and 400 constables were deployed for the security.

On the Amsterdam forum Reinier van der Sandt clearly implied that settingcaptivesfree.com helped him overcome his own addiction to pornography. In the post entitled “Stop Porn”, RFJ Sandt specifically told Rob Oudkerk that when he was ready to give up pornography, he could try using the Fundamentalist Christian website SettingCaptivesFree.com because that website worked for him (clearly implying that settingcaptivesfree.com could help Rob Oudkerk overcome his addiction to pornography just as settingcaptivesfree.com helped Reinier overcome his addiction to pornography). This is important to remember because Reinier Van Der Sandt openly boasted about viewing child pornography (more about this later).

SettingCaptivesFree.com is a Fundamentalist Christian website run by the Ohio Valley Church (Ref) that requires one to register for a course to overcome one’s addictions. Registrants must accept their Statement Of Faith as part of their “therapy”. The Ohio Valley Church’s Mission And Statement Of Faith says:

Reinier Van Der Sandt Refuses To Deny He Is A Christian:
On the former sathyasaibaba2 Yahoo! Group, RFJ Sandt wrote a response to Moreno where he adamantly refused to disclose his religious beliefs. As a matter of fact, RFJ Sandt wrote:

RvdS: What Reinier van der Sandt is or believes is only known by himself and none of Joe (Gerald) Moreno’s business. (Reference)

Although RFJ Sandt tries to make the case that he is not a Fundamentalist Christian, he has never once denied that he is a Christian!

Here are two posts made by Mr. Sandt (on the internet) advocating for his own personal faith in Jesus Christ (underlined emphasis added by Moreno):

In these two passages, RFJ Sandt contrasted himself (and his understanding of Christian scriptures) against the “large population of Christians” who are not practicing their faith because they are not well versed in Christian scriptures. Reinier van der Sandt implied he is well versed with Christian scriptures and fully practices the Christian faith.

Reinier van der Sandt lumped “present-day believers” into two groups:

Group 1: Those who are for the Pope in Italy.

Group 2: Those who are for Sathya Sai Baba.

We know that RVD Sandt does not belong to Group 2 so that leaves Group 1 (i.e., those who are for the Pope in Italy).

A Fundamentalist Christian is generally defined as someone who accepts the following beliefs:

The Bible is the inspired Word Of God.

Jesus Christ is accepted as one’s personal Lord and Savior.

Jesus is the only way to heaven and/or God.

One must confess him/her self as a sinner.

Reinier Van Der Sandt also authored three articles against Sathya Sai Baba entitled:

Consequently, RFJ Sandt’s Christian beliefs are obvious to those who have eyes to see and ears to hear.

Reinier Van Der Sandt Posted A Christian Banner On The ExBaba Domain:
It is also a fact that Reinier van der Sandt posted a Christian Banner on the ExBaba Domain in March 2006 that went to the Fundamentalist Christian website Pastoraat-SOS, which is directly affiliated with Bijbel Centraal NL.

Once Moreno pointed out that the largest Anti-Baba website on the internet was soliciting a Christian website in the Netherlands (Ref), R.F.J. Sandt rushed to do damage control and removed the banner (but not before Moreno screencaptured it).

WHY would RFJ Sandt (as an alleged non-Christian) post a Christian banner on the Ex-Baba domain that directly linked to a Fundamentalist Christian website if he is not a Christian?

R.F.J. Sandt Defended A Convicted Christian Sex Offender:
R.F.J. Sandt tried to defend Anton Hein (a convicted Christian sex offender) in one of seventy-seven attack webpages he made against Moreno in 36 days (which is comparable to Barry Pittard and Robert Priddy’s current & loose smear-campaigns against Moreno on Wordpress).

Reinier van der Sandt attacked Alan Kazlev (whom he called Moreno’s “buddy and co-worker - two liars in one”) for making a comment about an Evangelical Christian sex offender stumping against Sathya Sai Baba. Reinier van der Sandt foamed-at-the-mouth and said the accusation against Anton Hein was “totally untrue”, a “baseless, dirty lie” and a “gutter tactic one has to use to defend your alleged child-assaulting homosexual guru”.

However, there is verifiable evidence about Anton Hein’s known status as a sex offender in California. As a matter of fact, Anton Hein spent time in prison for the offence 288a (which is for lewd or lascivious act of a child who is under the age of 14 years of age). Anton Hein even discussed this issue on his own website! This goes to show how poorly R.F.J. Sandt researches his (dis)information and how he is willing to defend his Christian buddies, even if they are known sex offenders who flee from the law!

Anton and Janet Hein-Hudson are the fundamentalist Christian webmasters for apologeticsindex.org, a website that specifically took aim at Sathya Sai Baba (it still does but now more indirectly). Tracy Grimshaw: Well it was founded as a Government run center for disabled people to learn life skills, now it's accused of being a front for a bizarre religious cult that started in India.

RESPONSE: Dorothy and Moiya O'Brien (aka “The Pink Twins”) started SWARA in 1975 and have received national recognition, honors and awards in Australia for their dedicated and selfless service to individuals with developmental disabilities (Refs: 01 - 02). RESPONSE: Kelli Vallis actually initiated this confrontation by recklessly instructing disabled individuals to disobey the warnings of security officers. Kelli Vallis also recklessly encouraged disabled individuals to raid the SWARA compound. After these disabled individuals disobeyed the security officer's warnings and raided the SWARA compound, Kelly Vallis raised a huge wail when the security officers were forced to maintain order.

Instead of addressing Kelli Vallis' reckless endangerment and exploitation of disabled individuals for cheap publicity, A Current Affair had the audacity to blame the SWARA committee for hiring security guards to protect the premise from an obviously disgruntled and aggressive ex-employee.

It is also significant to note that NineMSN - A Current Affair purposely withheld the fact that the SWARA clients were on their summer holiday (they observe the same holidays as the schools) and had no reason to be at the SWARA compound at the time of their protest (as the compound was closed to them due to the summer holiday).

If Kelli Vallis truly believed that SWARA was a “front for a bizarre religious cult”, why did she return to the “cult compound” and complain about not being allowed back in? Why did Kelli Vallis purposely suppress the fact that she was a devotee of Sathya Sai Baba?

Chris Allen: Is this a cult?

Kelli Vallis: Absolutely. If you look up the definition of a cult, you will find that they fit almost all the criteria of a cult and their behavior, more importantly their behavior, is very cult-like.

RESPONSE: At no time did Chris Allen question Kelli Vallis' involvement with the alleged “cult”. Kelli Vallis was an ardent devotee of Sathya Sai Baba, visited the guru in India and even sang in the choir at the guru's ashram. The ACA program made it appear as if Kelli Vallis was a non-cult member who innocently uncovered secret information about “cult” activities at SWARA and attempted to bring public recognition to these secretive “cult” activities. However, Kelli Vallis belonged to the very same “cult” she criticized and thereby possessed and promoted all the alleged “cult” behaviors she erroneously attributed to SWARA and Moiya.

ACA - NineMSN - A Current Affair: (Confrontation scene with Kelli Vallis shouting “Security guards are manhandling our clients and they are physically abusing them”.)

Chris Allen: Ugly scenes as disable people are locked out of a center built for them by the Queensland Government.

Kelli Vallis: They are disgraceful people. They've taken away their rights and now they've actually physically abused them.

Chris Allen: Kelli Vallis is the manger of the center, or was, until the committee which runs it sacked her after she led this protest.

Kelli Vallis: They have been taken over by a cult.

Chris Allen: This is government funded?

Kelli Vallis: It absolutely is.

RESPONSE: Chris Allen is being disingenuous when he claimed that disabled people were “locked out” of SWARA. The SWARA clients were on their summer holiday (they observe the same holidays as the schools) and had no reason to be at the SWARA compound at the time of their protest (as the compound was closed to them due to the summer holiday).

Once again, Kelli Vallis initiated this confrontation by recklessly instructing disabled individuals to disobey the warnings of security officers and by recklessly encouraging disabled individuals to raid the SWARA compound.

After instigating this confrontation, Kelli Vallis went around screaming in the camera mikes that the security officers were physically abusing the disabled individuals.

Kelli Vallis organized a protest outside the Sunshine Welfare & Remedial Association (SWARA) compound and instructed a group of disabled individuals to chant various slogans and wave posters and banners that read:

“Hear us. Help Us. Free Us.”

“Freedom + Our Rights”

“Current Law Does Not Protect Disables”

“Only 1 Outcome - Sai Baba Cult Out - New Committee In”

The repetitive chants and the large posters and banners (which obviously required a great deal of preparation) strongly suggest that the disabled individuals were instructed, indoctrinated, prepped and influenced with Anti-Sai-Baba messages and Anti-Sai-Baba information. The protest was a planned publicity stunt and Kelli Vallis even had NineMSN - A Current Affair film the event.

If the Sai Baba movement was truly a dangerous “cult”, why did Kelli Vallis belong to it in the first place? Why did Kelli Vallis withhold this relevant information from Chris Allen? Did Kelli Vallis attempt to convert SWARA clients to the Sai Movement when she worked there as a Sai devotee? Why did Kelli Vallis make her “cult” accusations only after she was dismissed from her position at SWARA?

Moyia O’Brien: That is completely ridiculous. That is not true. The Sai Baba Organisation is not a cult, it is not even a religion. It is a service group.

RESPONSE: Moiya O’Brien’s statement about the Sathya Sai Seva Organisation is accurate.

The Satya Sai Organisation is a multi-faith spiritual Organisation that focuses on selfless service and volunteer work for the poor, needy and/or disadvantaged in society. All major religions are acknowledged and respected within the Organisation (as evidenced by their logo). Members strive to uphold five basic human values: Truth, Love, Peace, Right Action and Non-Violence. Their motto is: “Love All - Serve All”. The Organisation's activities are not meant or intended for conversion, publicity or fund-raising.

The Sathya Sai Seva Organisation has championed various charitable and humanitarian causes in different parts of the world.

Putting into practice the tenets of the Seva Organisation, Sathya Sai Baba built two Super Specialty Hospitals that provide major operations and medical care free of cost to India's poor and those in need. Sathya Sai Baba's Super Specialty Hospitals have received national and international recognition (Refs: 01 - 02 - 03 - 03 - 04 - 05).

Putting into practice the tenets of the Seva Organisation, Sathya Sai Baba funded several major drinking water projects in India. The first drinking water project (completed in 1996) supplies water to 1.2 million people in 730 villages in the drought-prone Anantapur district in Andhra Pradesh. The second drinking water project, completed in 2004, supplies water to Chennai (formerly known as Madras) through a rebuilt waterway named "Sathya Sai Ganga Canal". The Chennai water drinking project was praised by Tamil Nadu Chief Minister, M Karunanidhi. Karunanidhi said that although he is an atheist, he differentiated between good spiritual leaders like Sathya Sai Baba and fake godmen. The third drinking water project, expected to be completed in April 2006, would supply water from the Godavari River to half a million people living in five hundred villages in East and West Godavari Districts. Other completed water projects include the Medak District Project benefiting 450,000 people in 179 villages and the Mahbubnagar District Project benefiting 350,000 people in 141 villages. In January 2007, the Sri Sathya Sai Central Trust revealed that it would undertake another drinking water project in Latur, Maharashtra (Refs: 01 - 02 - 03 - 04).

The Sathya Sai University (which provides free education up to the PhD level) is a prestigious educational facility that has twice received the highest grade by the NAAC - National Assessment and Accreditation Council (Ref). Sathya Sai Baba's educational facilities have been praised for their excellence by:

Consequently, Sathya Sai Baba and his movement cannot be casually dismissed as a “bizarre religious cult”.

Chris Allen: Moiya O’Brien is Chairman of the committee which runs the center. She's also a devotee of Sai Baba, the Indian mystic who claims to be a god.

Moyia O’Brien: I am convinced he is part of God. He’s part of who we are. But he is perhaps a bigger part than what we are.

RESPONSE: This section is accurate.

Chris Allen: Skeptics say Sai Baba is also a big fraud. He claims to produce magic dust and jewels from thin air. But look closely and you can see the ash comes from pellets he crushes between his fingers. And the jewels he conjures up are just sleight of hand. Here he produces a necklace. Look again and you'll see the fumble under the box. While never convicted of a criminal offence, there have been allegations of murder, fraud and sexual abuse of children. At one stage, the US Government issued a warning about visiting his ashram in Southern India. But that hasn't stopped millions from believing in Sai Baba, including Moiya O’Brien.

RESPONSE: A Current Affair made several inaccurate and misleading claims about Sathya Sai Baba and full responses are required:

Materializations:
Any materialization associated with Sathya Sai Baba's physical form will be inextricably tied to doubt as magicians are able to duplicate them. However, what magicians have not been able to duplicate are the world-wide cures, healings, visions, dreams, manifestations and materializations typically associated with the name and form of Sathya Sai Baba.

There are literally thousands of international stories and first-hand accounts attesting to paranormal experiences with Sathya Sai Baba.

As a matter of fact, even Barry Pittard (an Australian critic and ex-follower of the guru) still believes to this day (after his defection) that Sathya Sai Baba possesses genuine paranormal powers (Ref).

Sathya Sai Baba often trivializes these manifestations, referring to them as his “calling cards”. The guru claims that his real power and real miracle can be found in his love, which has the power to transform, illumine, unite and heal.

Video Alleging Sleight Of Hand:
PhD Erlendur Haraldsson stated in his book “Modern Miracles” that he and his associates carried out a careful analysis of the video shown on NineMSN - A Current Affair (which was originally released by the Deccan Chronicle) alleging trickery, sleight of hand and fraud against Sathya Sai Baba:

Dr. Erlendur Haraldsson: “The quality and resolution of the tape leaves much to be desired and limits the inferences that can be drawn from it. Dr. Wiseman took the videotape to a company which specialises in investigating corporate fraud. This company possesses some of the world's best equipment designed to enhance poor quality videotape. The technician kindly offered to enhance the videotape in question. The videotape was run through a real time Snell & Wilcox Kudos Noise Reducer. The machine carries out three operations. First, it removes via recursive filters the random noise on the tape caused by repeated copying. Second, it improves the graininess of the video by median filters and finally enhances any edges on the video through edge enhancement filters. After all this the video is certainly easier to watch, and did not contain much of the random noise present on the copy provided by the Deccan Chronicle. However, the resulting tape still did not reveal further information about the incident. In short, the reason for Sai Baba's hand movements still appears unclear and is open for various interpretations, but the tape contained no firm evidence of fraud. The company also analysed several still frames taken from the video. These were scanned into a computer and run through an Improve image processing system (developed by the Home Office in Britain). Again, the images were enhanced via median filters and certain areas of the frames were enlarged. The resulting photographs show the crucial moment as Sai Baba's hands touch under the memento, but do not reveal any further information.”

Therefore, despite the subjective conclusions drawn by A Current Affair, they simply cannot argue with the objective results obtained by the analysis. The allegation of trickery, sleight of hand and fraud in the fuzzy video provided by ACA is completely unfounded. Needless to say, had ACA actually done some remedial research, they would have discovered this widely available and easily obtainable information.

Accusations Of Murder, Fraud & Child Molestation:
A thorough, detailed and full response has been provided in an article entitled: The Sathya Sai Baba “Sex Scandal” Myth. The accusations of “murder”, “fraud” and “child molestation” are made exclusively by critics, skeptics and ex-devotees. There are no credible, verifiable or legal documents, sources or references to substantiate the absurd, erroneous and false accusations of “murder”, “fraud” and “child molestation”. These accusations are based entirely on conspiracies, speculations, gossips and rumors. Sathya Sai Baba has never (ever) been charged with any crime and no one has ever filed a basic police complaint or court case against him in India for any alleged improprieties.

The US State Department Travel Advisory:
ACA incorrectly stated that the “US Government” issued a warning about visiting Sathya Sai Baba's ashram in Southern India. This amounts to nothing more than a total embellishment of known fact. Apparently NineMSN - A Current Affair cannot differentiate between the U.S. Government and a Consular Information Travel Sheet For India webpage. Ex-Devotees have openly boasted:

That they were responsible for an indirect warning that appeared on the USA Consular Information Travel Sheet For India webpage (which did not mention Sathya Sai Baba by name).

That Barry Pittard was responsible for an indirect warning that appeared on the Australian Consular Information Travel Sheet For India webpage (which made wide-ranging statements about cults in India).

Failed to get Britain to issue a similar warning and encouraged Ex-Devotees to e-bomb the embassy with complaints.

As of July 17th 2007, the US State Department Bureau Of Consular Affairs REMOVED all indirect references to Sathya Sai Baba from their official website (Reference).

The truth is finally prevailing and the gutter tactics and smear campaigns waged by Ex-Devotees are finally reaching the ears of high ranking individuals and relevant organizations all around the world. For example, Barry Pittard (an Australian ex-devotee and main spokesperson for the Anti-Sai Movement) wholly distorted the former indirect warning and claimed it confirmed “pedophile accusations” against Sathya Sai Baba (Ref), a gutter, total and malicious untruth.

These types of bold-faced lies and dishonest behaviors should raise serious questions about the integrity and credibility of critics and skeptics of Sai Baba. Instead of focusing on these verifiable facts, NineMSN - A Current Affair chose to focus on rumors, gossips and propaganda from Ex-Devotees.

RESPONSE: It is true that Moiya O’Brien’s decades-long selfless service to people with developmental disabilities has made her an icon among Sai devotees and non-devotees alike. It is no secret that Moiya O’Brien has been inspired and uplifted by the love, teachings and example of Sathya Sai Baba. Unlike Kelli Vallis, Moiya O’Brien has never made any attempt to withhold or suppress information about her involvement with Sathya Sai Baba.

Kelli Vallis: People who come here don't make the choice to be involved in a belief system about an Indian guru who they believe is God incarnate.

Chris Allen: Kelli says five of the seven member committee which runs the center are Sai Baba and that Moiya O’Brien has allowed the group to use the center for prayer meetings.

Kelli Vallis: They have complete control over our service.

RESPONSE: Once again, Kelli Vallis is portrayed as a non-cult member who was shocked, concerned and outraged when she discovered that SWARA and Moiya were allegedly engaging in secretive “cult” activities. Nevertheless, Kelli Vallis was fully aware that Moiya was a Sai devotee because she was one herself! Kelli Valis thereby implicates herself as engaging in secretive “cult” activities because she was a devotee of Sai Baba during the time she worked at SWARA.

Chris Allen: (speaking to developmentally challenged man) Do they try and recruit you, ask you to join up?

Steve (developmentally challenged man): Yeah they did but I said no way.

Chris Allen: Disabled kinds like Steve and Michelle say they've been pressured to join up.

Michelle (developmentally challenged woman): Yes they have tried but I've just stood my ground and said no it's not for me.

Moyia O’Brien: That is completely untrue. We have never discussed Sai Baba.

RESPONSE: Why is that in 33 years no one (including clients, parents, guardians, therapists, case managers, visitors, media agencies, etc.) has ever come forward alleging that SWARA was secretly recruiting disabled individuals into a “cult” or feeding them questionable information about a religious teacher in India? These allegations surfaced only after Kelli Vallis was dismissed from her job at SWARA and only after she instructed, indoctrinated, prepped and influenced disabled individuals with Anti-Sai-Baba messages and Anti-Sai-Baba information (as evidenced in the protest). Therefore, the claims made by Steve and Michelle are highly suspect.

NineMSN - A Current Affair did not devote even one minute to the accomplishments and successes of SWARA over the course of three decades. Rather, NineMSN - A Current Affair opted for sleaze and attempted to destroy the reputation, trivialize the hard work and tarnish the selfless service of SWARA and Moiya O’Brien with their biased broadcast. This type of sub-standard and sensationalistic journalism is reprehensible.

Chris Allen: There is evidence that the cult wants to take over this center. This email was found by staff here last week. It's from Sai Baba members saying they'd like to turn this place into an Ashram like their place of worship in India. It even suggests that they were pink and white to add to the atmosphere.

RESPONSE: What NineMSN - A Current Affair failed to mention is that the Sunshine Welfare and Remedial Association Inc. (SWARA) moved from their old location in Spring Hill to a new location in Dutton Park. As a result, the old SWARA building would no longer be used for SWARA activities. The old building was the one referred to in the email. Of course, NineMSN - A Current Affair did not reveal this relevant information and apparently chose to mislead their viewers with incomplete information.

Moiya O’Brien (switching back to the cult accusation): I completely deny it.

Chris Allen: But you must appreciate that people are going to say this looks like a cult, smells like a cult, it must be a cult.

Moiya O’Brien: Yeah, but it is not necessarily said.

RESPONSE: The word “cult” has many meanings (mostly pejorative) and can be used to describe any group devoted to art, music, writing, fiction, fashion, religion, politics, business, hobbies, places, objects, etc. Anthropologists and sociologists generally agree that there is no unambiguous definition for the word “cult”. In a religious sense, the word “cult” usually refers to exploitive religious or spiritual groups distinguished by excessive member control and that are illegally abusive or destructive. There is simply no proof that SWARA or Moiya O’Brien exploited, controlled, abused or recruited any clients on behalf of the Sathya Sai Organisation.

Chris Allen: Even sadder the sight of disabled clients being manhandled by security guards hired by the committee to keep them out.

Kelli Vallis: These people are not to be left in charge or responsible of this organization or the welfare of these people. It's just disgraceful.

RESPONSE: NineMSN - A Current Affair returned to the very same footage they showed at the beginning of their broadcast. Chris Allen is being disingenuous when he claimed that the security guards were “hired by the committee to keep them (disable individuals) out”. Once again, the SWARA clients were on their summer holiday (they observe the same holidays as the schools) and had no reason to be at the SWARA compound at the time of their protest (as the compound was closed to them due to the summer holiday).

The clients would not have been “manhandled” had they not disobeyed the warnings of security officers and had they not been encouraged to raid the SWARA compound.

It is disgraceful that Chris Allen and Kelli Vallis exploited disabled individuals by using them as ploys to incite the security guards into action. After inciting the security guards, the footage was used to evoke sympathy from viewers and cast a negative light on SWARA.

Tracy Grimshaw: And in a statement sent to A Current Affair, the Department of Communities and Disability Services Queensland said it's now investigating complaints made against that center. We will let you know the outcome.

Needless to say, Barry Pittard and Robert Priddy (both vocal defamers and caustic critics of Sathya Sai Baba) knew about the NineMSN - A Current Affair programme before it aired and knew additional details about the protest that were not shown in the broadcast, thus proving their involvement with the program. Therefore, it most certainly appears that Barry Pittard (an ex-devotee well known for his highly questionable past and incitement of Islamic terrorists) was directly involved in behind-the-scenes collaboration with NineMSN - A Current Affair and Kelli Vallis.

Needless to say, all of the negative media against Sai Baba was the result of critic’s behind-the-scenes subterfuge, unremitting propaganda and “e-bombing campaigns”. Critics even boasted on Anti-Sai websites how they were responsible for and involved with various negative media exposures against Sathya Sai Baba. This holds true for The Secret Swami, The Divine Downfall Interview, The Seduced Program, The Unesco Withdrawal, The U.S. State Dept. In the never-ending hypocrisy that altogether exemplifies the Anti-Sai movement, Robert Priddy and an anonymous person using the name "Nitwit Nastik" (or "NitwitNastik") have joined forces in a crusade for rationality, skepticism, science, agnosticism and Anti-Sai activism!

First Things First: Defining "Nitwit Nastik":

Nitwit: Noun: A stupid or silly person. (Reference)
Nastik: Can refer to "Nastika", Indian philosophical schools and persons that do not accept the authority of the Vedas as supreme. "Nastika" is often translated as "atheist". (Reference)

Consequently, "Nitwit Nastik" literally means "a stupid or silly atheist". How apropos! NitwitNastik defines himself as an "amateur agnostic", belongs to an online group of Indian Atheists, is entirely anonymous, has a rather queer propensity to slur and malign people belonging to the faith of Islam, is an admirer of the defamer and conspiracy theorist Robert Priddy and is an admirer of the foul-mouthed George Carlin (Ref).

It is "pitiful" that Nitwit Nastik cannot live up to Robert Priddy's standards and does not have "the courage to stand forth like a man" and divulge his true identity.

This is yet another perfect example of Robert Priddy's laughable hypocrisy in which he demands full names from Pro-Sai Activists, yet makes no demands for full names from Anti-Sai Activists. Robert Priddy was also caught posting anonymously on QuickTopic using the names "bandbox" and "Lisa demoniser" (Ref). Robert Priddy is a brazen deceiver and an obvious phony who can't back up his precept with practice.

Nitwit Nastik And True Believer Robert Priddy:
Nitwitnastik exclusively references links to atheistic and skeptical material on his wordpress blog. Amusingly, Nitwit Nastik also linked to Robert Priddy's Anti-Sai-Baba blog because he apparently was duped into thinking that Robert Priddy is actually a skeptic who promotes scientific thought! Robert Priddy: “Some of what I experienced of SSB’s extraordinary and positive powers through many years is undeniable, even after the most rigorous skeptical investigations, and I do not regard him as any ordinary human being. I have simply had to realize that his actions in the worldly and human sphere are not infallible and are not always setting a perfect example for others.”

Robert Priddy believes that Sathya Sai Baba possesses genuine paranormal powers because the Guru cured him of a debilitating and chronic neck and spinal problem that no one else could cure and whose symptoms no doctor could alleviate. Robert Priddy claimed that Sathya Sai Baba cured him through a series of “dream-operations” that resulted in a literal and physical transformation of his spine, which was supported by x-rays and the testimony of Mr. Kylie (“an osteopath and master of various other disciplines”).

Robert Priddy also claimed that Sathya Sai Baba freed his mother from chronic pain and that a small speck of Sathya Sai Baba’s vibuthi instantaneously cured his paralyzed cat when it suffered from what appeared to be a stroke.

Robert Priddy tries to make the case that Sathya Sai Baba:

Is both a fraud and genuine.

Both can materialize objects and fakes materializations.

Both can cure diseases but really can’t cure diseases.

Trying to pass himself off as an intellectual who currently holds rationalistic beliefs, Robert Priddy miserably fails to explain away the enigma of Sathya Sai Baba. Instead, Robert Priddy appears very confused, conflicted and non-intelligent and ends up sticking his foot further into his mouth with his never-ending and very amusing equivocations.

Consequently, NitwitNastik is promoting superstition and lunatic fringe beliefs by holding hands and associating himself with true believer Robert Priddy. Of course, I submitted a comment to NitWitNastik's blog revealing these facts but he did not publish it and instead chose to protect Robert Priddy.

Facts About Sathya Sai Baba's Brief Encounter With Idi Amin:
It is a fact that Sathya Sai Baba visited East Africa for 14 days in 1968 mostly due to the prayers and persistence of the Sai devotee Dr. Chotabhai G. Patel of Kampala, Uganda.

Because Dr. Patel was the personal doctor for Idi Amin, he was able to secure escorts and general security at various public meetings where numerous high-ranking officials and vast crowds gathered for the darshan of Bhagavan Sri Sathya Sai Baba. The security helped mobilize and control the massive crowds and ensured that Sathya Sai Baba and his contingent were allowed to travel to various places in Africa without incident. About Sathya Sai Baba’s trip to Uganda, Narayana Kasturi (a personal aide to the guru who accompanied him on the trip) wrote in Sathyam Sivam Sundaram:

N. Kasturi: Baba's Presence at Kampala was utilized by many for receiving blessings and counsel. The High Commissioner of India, Shri K.P.R. Singh, the Chief of Staff of the Uganda Army, General Idi Amin, the Minister of Defense, Mr. Onama, the Minister for Information and Broadcasting, Mr. Ojira, the Minister of Internal Affairs, Mr. Bataringaya, the Inspector of Police, Mr. Oryema, and other African leaders met Him at Dr. Patel's residence and obtained a glimpse of the Glory of Baba. During His stay He addressed gatherings of lions and rotarians, doctors, businessmen, and members and workers of service organizations. He replied with His natural gentleness, sweetness and sense of humor, even intimate personal questions from those who participated. Many people (including Idi Amin) posed for pictures with the illustrious guru from India. Robert Priddy (a conspiracist, fanatic and extremist) posted a known picture of Sathya Sai Baba with Idi Amin and maliciously and fraudulently claimed that Idi Amin was a “devotee” of Sathya Sai Baba and that Idi Amin had a picture of Sathya Sai Baba hanging on the wall of his residence.

First and foremost, Idi Amin posed with Sathya Sai Baba at the residence of Dr. Chotabhai G. Patel, hence the picture of the guru on the wall. The picture was not taken at Idi Amin’s residence as falsely claimed by Robert Priddy. About Robert Priddy’s absurd claim that Idi Amin was a “devotee” of Sathya Sai Baba, Robert Priddy has been unable to substantiate this blind assumption with any credible, verifiable or plausible references, sources or materials. Robert Priddy relies entirely on conspiracy.

At no time did Idi Amin declare himself a “devotee” of Sathya Sai Baba, nor are there any known statements, records or documents where Idi Amin publicly expressed devotion to Sathya Sai Baba.

Although Idi Amin was very vocal about his beliefs, there are no known statements, records or documents where Idi Amin made a single reference to Sathya Sai Baba or any Indian guru.

Idi Amin was Muslim, claimed his Muslim heritage, visited Mosques, encouraged Muslim organizations and openly professed himself a Muslim. Idi Amin even visited Muammar Abu Minyar al-Gaddafi in Libya. Once again, there are no known statements, records or documents where Idi Amin made any mention (directly, indirectly or otherwise) to any Indian Guru.

Idi Amin held contempt for Indians and expelled them from Uganda. If Idi Amin was truly “devoted” to an Indian Guru, why would he treat Indians so abhorrently?

Idi Amin expelled all Asians from Uganda as the result of instructions he claimed he received from God in a dream. Robert Priddy insinuated that the dream was given to Idi Amin by Sathya Sai Baba. If this were true, why are there no known statements, records or documents from Idi Amin praising Sathya Sai Baba as the “God” of his dream?

At no time after Sathya Sai Baba’s trip to Uganda did Idi Amin visit or have contact again with Sathya Sai Baba. There are no known meetings or correspondence between Idi Amin and Sathya Sai Baba besides their brief encounter in Africa in July 1968.

Sathya Sai Baba’s brief encounter with Idi Amin occurred in 1968, before Amin became a ruthless dictator and before Amin committed the atrocities attributed to him.

Consequently, when Robert Priddy alleged that Idi Amin was a “devotee” of Sathya Sai Baba, he lied. Robert Priddy’s unsupported claims reveal his fanatic and extremist mindset.

Sathya Sai Baba's Prophecy Regarding Idi Amin:
According to both Dr. Chotabhai G. Patel and Dr. D.J. Ghadia, Sathya Sai Baba told various devotees in 1968 that foreigners would be asked to leave Uganda in four years time and that they should relocate. In 1968, life in Uganda was very peaceful and very few people had reason to believe Sathya Sai Baba. Four years later, in 1972, Idi Amin ordered the expulsion of Asians from Uganda. Dr. D.J. Ghadia said in his book Sai Smaran that Dr. C.G. Patel told him that those who did not heed Sathya Sai Baba's words in 1968, only then came to realize the significance of his warning.

Robert Priddy Knew About Sathya Sai Baba’s Encounter With Idi Amin While A Sai Devotee:
Robert Priddy fully acknowledged that he was well aware of Sathya Sai Baba's visit to Uganda and Sathya Sai Baba's brief encounter with Idi Amin and said:

...One story about Sai Baba and Idi Amin circulated in the Sai movement during the near two decades when I was the national leader for Norway in the Sathya Sai Organisation...

When Robert Priddy was a Sai Devotee for 17-26 years, he did not see anything inappropriate or sinister about Sathya Sai Baba's visit to Uganda and his brief encounter with Idi Amin. After defecting from the Sai Movement, however, Robert Priddy would have us believe that Sathya Sai Baba supported a ruthless dictator, “lent himself to Idi Amin's extreme black supremacist stance”, had “secret meetings” with Idi Amin and that Idi Amin was a “devotee”. Needless to say, the most important question left unanswered is: Why was Robert Priddy devoted to Sathya Sai Baba for 17-26 years (even hailing the guru as God Incarnate and the Avatar of the Age) if Sathya Sai Baba truly supported Idi Amin? After all, Robert Priddy studied Sathya Sai Baba's life and teachings to such an extent, he egotistically boasted that no one could better his knowledge about Sathya Sai Baba. Robert Priddy said:

“I knew his own words extremely well from my more intensive 20-year study and constant detailed indexing of his discourses, and I never happened across anyone in the Sai movement during 20 years who could better my knowledge of his actual words and teaching...”

This statement is very revealing and shows how Robert Priddy's alleged devotion to Sathya Sai Baba was actually some sort of egotistical competition in which he viewed himself as intellectually superior to all others. Robert Priddy actually believed that he alone was an expert when it came to Sathya Sai Baba's “actual words and teachings” although he could not read, write or understand Telugu (Sathya Sai Baba's native language)! Talk about delusions grandeur and self-importance!

About Sathya Sai Baba's teachings, Robert Priddy said in Chapter 22 of his Pro-Sai book Source Of The Dream:

“No one to my knowledge gives such directly simple, yet deceptively deep and subtle, answers to the most enigmatic of questions, nor does so in more straightforward and powerfully-convincing ways than does Baba…No spiritually-interested person who reads Sai discourses or writings can fail to be impressed by the clarity and simplicity of these teachings, which bear comparison with any known higher spiritual teaching...Some insights surpass those to be found in any scripture or comparable work known, at least, to the present writer...”

A rock-solid endorsement to the impressive and striking power of Sathya Sai Baba’s teaching by the self-professed expert who “never happened across anyone in the Sai movement during 20 years who could better his knowledge of Sathya Sai Baba’s actual words and teaching”!

Robert Priddy also loves to bash Sai Devotees as being gullible, naive, stupid, brainwashed, unconvincing, dummylike, egotistical, blind, superstitious, childish, etc. (the list of slurs goes on and on). Of course, the amusing ramification to these accusations against Sai Devotees is that Robert Priddy (the supreme Sai devotee who knew Sathya Sai Baba’s actual words and teaching better than everyone else) must have possessed all these negative qualities when he was a gullible, naive, stupid, brainwashed, unconvincing, dummylike, egotistical, blind, superstitious and childish Sai Devotee for 17-26 years!

Professor G Venktaraman's Reasonable Comments About Idi Amin:

Venkataraman: Many are the slanted items planted in the article that I am referring to. Here is an example. It is stated that Sai Baba gives interviews to major criminals like Idi Amin of Uganda. Consider the facts. In 1968, Swami went to East Africa. He flew from Bombay into Nairobi in Kenya.

He hardly spent any time there because His destination was Kampala in Uganda where He went because of persistent invitations from a devotee [now no more] named Dr. Patel. As you might be aware, Kampala is the capital city of Uganda, and the country extended the courtesy of providing security escort and various arrangements needed at public meetings and so forth. The local host Dr. Patel suggested that it would be in the fitness of things if Swami visited Idi Amin and blessed him; which Swami then did. Why should anyone read more into that?

Idi Amin was no doubt a controversial personality, thanks to his coming down heavily on people who he thought exploited the natives. By the way, the local Indian community was one of the worst affected. That said, let us remember that Idi Amin was also the Head of State at that time. Good, bad or indifferent, various governments of the world had diplomatic relationship with him. Where diplomacy is involved, one cannot always act in a judgmental way; instead, one does that which might help in smoothening matters.

Did not Neville Chamberlin go to Munich to meet Hitler? Did not Roosevelt meet Stalin in Yalta at the height of World War II? Did not Harry Truman later meet that same Stalin in Tehran? Did not Richard Nixon go to Peking [now Beijing] and meet Mao? The fact that Swami met Idi Amin despite the latter’s hostility to the Indian community speaks for itself. By the way, our critic seems to be unaware of the fact that when he was deposed, Idi Amin, a Muslim, sought refuge in Saudi Arabia where he finally died after many years. If Swami was anti-Muslim, why would he meet Idi Amin? (Reference)

Robert Priddy, Sathya Sai Baba & Idi Amin: In Conclusion:
Since Robert Priddy sets the standard of “guilt through association”, then one must conclude that Robert Priddy was a promoter and supporter of Idi Amin because of his direct 17-26 year association with Sathya Sai Baba, for whom he professed "uncompromising devotion". Robert Priddy sets the standard and implicates himself in the process.

Robert Priddy also gave a vocal endorsement to a fraudulent composite image of Sathya Sai Baba holding hands with Idi Amin (which was created by Reinier Van Der Sandt). Although Robert Priddy attempted to justify the creation of that composite image, he wholly ignored how the Indian Skeptic published Reinier’s fraudulent picture in their magazine and attempted to pass it off as an authentic picture. Critic's Bomb Arguments Explode In Their Faces

Robert Priddy (a caustic critic of Sathya Sai Baba) recently published a blogged article in which he castigated the saibabaofindia.com website for deleting a quote allegedly taken from Sathya Sai Baba’s convocation discourse. To bolster his claim, Robert Priddy shrieked that he screen-captured the saibabaofindia webpage before the quote was deleted. Robert Priddy said:

Typical of the cover-up of all Sai believers, and as I predicted on this blog site some days ago - saibabaoindia.com has also removed their web page in which they rashly posted what Sai Baba said only days before the Mumbai terror attacks. (The have reposted the Convocation address without the blunder on another URL. What a disinforming propaganda website!) The original was at link, and the crucial part was captured on screen before it was deleted (see on right).

The offending text, which may well have influenced the blind devotee, former Union Minister of Home Affairs Shivaj Patil, to take it easy on the terror threat- was:-

Since Robert Priddy believes it is OKAY to screen-capture webpages to other websites (and does not see it as an issue of infringment), I am providing the following screen-capture to his absurd article that was posted on his Anti-Sai WordPress blog:

Since Robert Priddy is a proven pathological prevaricator, I decided to re-check his alleged “scholarly” claim for myself.

First and foremost, Robert Priddy lied when he said the quote was deleted from the saibabaofindia website. It was not deleted, is still available (Ref) and I even obtained a recent screen-capture myself.

Secondly, the convocation discourse was delivered on November 22nd 2008, not October 22nd 2008 as erroneously and falsely claimed by Robert Priddy.

Thirdly, Robert Priddy misquoted the original post and said “India is the only place where people are not worried about any attacks…” instead of saying “Talking about India Swami said, India is the only place where people are not worried about any attacks…” (which would have revealed that the quote was summarized by a Sai Devotee and was not an official translation).

Lastly, the quote in question (which was obtained from memory by a Sai Devotee in the crowd) did not come from the official discourse, was not published on an official Sathya Sai website and was not even a full translation to the full discourse (it was simply a personal summation recollected from memory)! Therefore Robert Priddy lied again when he attributed the quote directly to Sathya Sai Baba.

Barry Pittard, Brian Steel and Robert Priddy have written idiotic blogged posts claiming that Sathya Sai Baba said out of his own mouth that India had “no fear of bombs” just a week before the Mumbai Terror Attacks. Needless to say, no “bombs” fell on India during the Mumbai Terror Attacks and the official discourse (published the same day it was delivered) made no mention to bombs whatsoever.
Therefore, critic’s cannot say with any certainty that Sathya Sai Baba made that claim out of his own mouth although they directly attributed the “bomb” quote to Sathya Sai Baba as if they were citing an official translation taken from an official Sathya Sai website. The quote in question did not come from the official translation, nor did it come from an official Sathya Sai website.

Let us take a look at the quote in question (recollected from memory) made by a Sai Devotee on the saibabaofindia Yahoo Group:

Yahoo Group Quote: “…Talking about India Swami said, India is the only place where people are not worried about any attacks. In America , Germany and other countries, they can’t eat well or sleep well. There is fear of bombs always in those countries. But in India , there is no fear of bombs. India will never have any such attacks…” (Ref)

Even if one were to accept this summation as true, the context to the quote is quite clear:

The weapons in question are “bombs”.

The “bombs” in question are feared by America, Germany and other countries (indicating nuclear bombs).

India will not be attacked by these “bombs”, which are feared by other countries.

Needless to say, no “bombs” (which are feared by other countries) were dropped on India during the Mumbai terror attacks, hence the idiocy of critic’s strawman arguments and extreme, absurd and fanatic misrepresentations.

Therefore, the only “disinforming propaganda websites” are the ones belonging to Barry Pittard, Brian Steel and Robert Priddy. Far be it for Robert Priddy to call others “blind devotees” when he was a “blind devotee” for 17-26 years and even hailed Sai Baba as the Avatar of the Age and God Incarnate! The more Robert Priddy attacks Sai Devotees for their “stupidity”, “blindness”, “gullibility”, “naivete”, etc., the stronger he implicates himself as having possessed these qualities for decades.

SaiBaba-Invigilator Blog Alleges Sathya Sai Baba Promotes “Tantric Corpse Eating”
Critics and Ex-Devotees have become so desperate in their smear and defamation campaigns against Sathya Sai Baba, they are now claiming that the guru is a promoter of black magic, tantra and tantric corpse eating!

The anonymous Anti-Sai blog promoting this rubbish is the saibaba-invigilator, which is specific to Sathya Sai Baba and whose objective is stated as:

“Sathya Sai Baba - The Truth A blog for collecting breaking news, opinions and other materials concerning Sathya Sai Baba which reveal little-known facts and the concealed truth about his works, acts and words.”

Needless to say, the saibaba-invigilator blog is heavily referenced, linked to and promoted by ex-devotees (including Reinier Van Der Sandt, Sanjay Dadlani, Barry Pittard, Brian Steel and Robert Priddy). Ex-devotees openly endorse and associate themselves with the sleaze, slime and extremist views disseminated by the saibaba-invigilator blog.

Tantrik held for eating corpse - Deccan Herald - 11.4.2006 - A tantrik and his disciple were arrested in Jaunpur in UP on Monday for digging up the body of an 18 - month - old boy and eating it to attain “supernatural powers,” reports PTI. The two had admitted to exhuming the body and consuming it after cutting off the head in order to attain supernatural powers.The head of the child, who had died a week earlier due to some illness, was found lying near the grave. Blind faith Witch doctor drives family out of village - Deccan Herald - 6.9.2006 - KOLKATA, DHNS: A witch doctor proposed and the villagers did not oppose. Consequently, an entire family of 15 in a village not too far from here was hounded out of their home on suspicion that they were practising witchcraft and causing the deaths of humans and livestock. The police, who had initially offered them shelter at a local government office, on Tuesday asked the 65-year-old Haridasi Sardar and her family of ‘witches’ living in Nadia district to move elsewhere. According to reports, Sardar, her four sons their wives and six children, all residents of Balaighata village, were charged with practising black magic and casting a spell in the village, resulting in the deaths of several people and livestock. The witch doctor, hired by the villagers to probe the deaths, ordered their immediate expulsion from the village. “We are engaged at present in talks with the village administration for some alternative (to evicting the family),” said Nadia Additional Superintendent of Police Subrata Mitra. Suspected witch killed by mob - Deccan Herald - 7.7.2006 - RANCHI: Accusing a woman of practicing voodoo, a mob killed a 50 year - old woman Bigalahi Devi with sharp edged weapon at Sadma village in Ranchi district on Wednesday evening. Confirming the incident, Ranchi Superintendent of Police (Rural) Upendra Kumar said six persons including a woman have been arrested in this connection. The arrest was made on the basis an FIR lodged with Ormanjhi police station. Earlier on Tuesday, a woman, Patiya Devi was paraded through the main thoroughfare of Alankera village in Gumla district and forced to consume human excreta for, what the villagers alleged, practicing black magic and causing the death of 14 year - old girl. Sources in the police said that irked by the death of two children of the villagers, a mob on Wednesday evening barged into the house of Bigalahi Devi and killed her. “Ghost’s mobile” haunts police - Deccan Herald - 11.7.2006 - RANCHI: Priya Dubey,Sperintendent of Tata Nagar (Railway) Police, faces a strange problem these days. She is being “haunted” by a rumour about a ghost. “Ab tak takariban 100, na jane kitne aur aate (Till now, it is around 100; don’t know how many more will come),” she wonders as she keeps count of the number of calls she received on her mobile, asking whether it is a “ghost number”. Lodging a first information report, Ms Dubey stated that some people spread a rumour that her cell phone (9431117171) was a ghost’s number and as a result, she had been receiving a number of calls from the curious public. The Jamshedpur police have prepared a list of about 100 errant callers and they are being summoned for interrogation routinely. The incoming facility to the aforementioned number has been discontinued. Priya Dubey does not know how the rumour spread. “But whoever is playing prank will not be spared,” the police officer said. Among the many callers, 12 year - old Neha Afroon in the course of interrogation said she was just trying out the “ghost number” as everyone in her locality said the number costs no charge to the dialler. Sheer curiosity Another caller told the police that he dialled the number out of sheer curiosity as he had missed a similar chance before. Sometime ago, a local daily carried a report about a mobile phone being carried by a ghost in some other state. “That time too, I had tried the number but it was switched off. Who, among Ex-Devotees, engaged in black magic, tantra and tantric corpse eating while following Sathya Sai Baba? That’s the big question the saibaba-invigilator blog actually poses to its readers but fails to answer.

Despite negative media attention, not even one critical media agency or journalist has ever insinuated that Sathya Sai Baba is a promoter of black magic, tantra or tantric corpse eating. Even India’s sensationalistic media won’t venture into the gutter in which critics wallow.
